omg! Andrea I agree with you 100%! i loved the book - dont get me wrong, but Lucy did annoy me at points where I skimmed after (view spoiler)[ they slept together because she kept doing the whole Im obsessed with him, but I hate him, but I cant explain myself even though she'll spill her guts about everything else. That alongside her desperation to sleep with him was pretty unnecessary alongside the constant mention of her being tiny which made me really uncomfortable. yeah i loved the whole scene with his brother and her being sick.
i never played paintball war with the guns and all that but it looks really painful, she has bruises from them

(view spoiler)[ I started this one last night, and forced myself to put it down at 3:30 AM! I’m enjoying it even though it’s pretty predictable. I enjoy the tension between Lucy and Josh, and I love Josh!!!!! I wonder if his appointment is a job interview somewhere else or a way for to fix the entire thing he mentioned when taking care of Lucy. I have a feeling the reason he doesn’t want to go to his brother’s wedding is because his brother is probably marrying Josh’s ex girlfriend. :( just some of my guesses... (hide spoiler)]

Ch 27 - (view spoiler)[ I wish she had poked Anthony in the eye too. I am also starting to really worry/wonder what will happen regarding the job interview. It seems clear they are both still hoping for it. I have a suspicion that they might both give it up for the other one's sake. Josh knows it's Lucy's dream job and he loves her. She knows it would really help his family see him in a different light and that he would be good at it. I see them both opting out of the interview and letting one of the outside people take the job - that way they still get to work across from one another, etc. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ There are parts in this book that I absolutely loved (pretty much the entire first half). I loved the banter between the Lucy and Josh, and I couldn't help but root for them. Too adorable! But there were parts that I would have given a 3 star rating...so I'm torn. It was extremely predicable...not a single plot twist I didn't already see coming. It was a fun romance, and it was addictive and entertaining for me, so for that I would say it was great. But I didn't care for how fast the ending came to be, and there were loose ends that just didn't get explained. The ending felt a bit sloppy and fell a little flat for me. Still enjoyed it!
