What are the best third novels in a trilogy?

I just finished Fate of Tearling and was disappointed. Allegiant was horrible. I loved Mocking Jay and the third of the Patrick Ness trilogy Monsters of Men. I liked Dreams of Gods and Monsters. Who knows if I will ever read the third Patrick Rothfuss novel I have kind of lost interest in that one. Any other trilogies with a great or really good third novel. It does not have to be fantasy. I think fantasy is fresh in my head because I just finished Tearling. It would be fun to hear of other really bad third novels too. Don't want to invest time in a trilogy that is not good all the way through. Thanks

I recommend The Hunt by Andrew Fukuda (The Prey and The Trap),
I could not put it down and the third book is just incredible such a twist in the story. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I did!
