LyndiLea Hardman (lyndileahardman) | 110 comments Just finished this book earlier today and I LOVED it! I will definitely be reading more of this series. I've got to know how everything turns out for Connor, Risa, and Lev. What will happen to Connor having Ronalds arm and what will become of explosive Lev are my two biggest questions.

❦Dawn❦ (sunnyd1) | 182 comments OMG Unwind was a troubling, terrifying, wonderful book. I read it in one sitting, not able to put it down. I saw the mention of a series. I don't know if I could take anymore.

Karma | 119 comments Loved it! One of the best dystopia I've read so far. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Karen Mockoviak | 274 comments Read this book in two days and it was fantastic. I will definitely be reading the other books in the series in the future!

Maria (marialuc) | 33 comments I could not put the book down. It was a little scary. The ending was good except for Risa's injuries. The characters were described in a way that I could picture them. I will definitely read the rest of the series because I would like to see how things work out for Connor, Lev, and Risa.

Ashlee (Ajax) (whoisajax) | 125 comments yeah I agree I think this book pulled on to many strings and I'm not sure I could handle the next one. I think the depth thos character writes in when it comes to the process of unwinding in a little chilly

Caro (karopi) | 995 comments Unwind is a great book, it puts you to think about donations, about the love that parents have (or not) for their kids and it also shows you the importance of the instincts of survival. Is pretty well written and it shows you an alternative world that like it or not we may be not too far, the thing with this novel, like a few other distologies is that it catch you because is close to reality, is based in things that a lot of people can think about but can't say loud. It puts in the table the discussion about abortion the concept of soul or the importance of religion, page after page Neal Shustermanstart to show you different points of view making you jump one through another wondering if it will be a real solution, if it can be a way..... What can be the option that can bring balance? I al looking forward for the next books of the series, I still wonder how it will end up.... And how much more it will make me think...I can also say that the moment that left me cold is when we read is to be Unwind.....That part of the book really give me the shivers

ReGina (regifabulous) | 312 comments I just finished this book about 15 minutes ago. It certainly didn't go where I expected. One nice thing with this genre - because it's unfamiliar, I didn't have any expectations. But the story is engaging, the characters pull you in, and there are a few plot twists and turns. The entire concept of unwinding is thought-provoking, and I loved the tithing aspect to it as well. As a Christian, that really made me think a lot about how I would feel about that as Lev's parents. And having a child specifically for the purpose of tithing. Very, very deep. All in all, a good read. I also have the extra bonus of finally having a book I can recommend to my nieces, giving me cool auntie points. That's kinda awesome.

Victoria | 27 comments Really liked this book so thank you to the group for bringing it to my attention as I probably would never have found it. I was a huge fan of the hunger games so when I read that it is a YA dystopian book I couldn't help being slightly worried that I would end up comparing it to the hunger games and not liking it as much but I didn't find this at all I really enjoyed the plot, characters and message of the book in it's own right and I'm incredibly pleased that I joined in with the read.

Albany (albanycarmona) When I started reading the book I was a bit disappointed because YA is one of my least favorite genres (most are pretty bad). However, it didn't take me long to realize this was no ordinary YA novel. The only reason I didn't finish it sooner was because life kept getting in the way but when I finally found the time I read the latter half in one sitting. The idea was something so original and as soon as the CyFi character was introduced I knew this story was gold. Loved the way the author wrapped it all up: not too tidy and not too messy. Will definitely recommend.
