It's the beginning of the year and we are all setting our goals. Have you set a goal of books to read in 2017? Do you have you sights set on reading a few different books? Share them with us. Perhaps we can read some of them together.

Jackie (jackiehollow) I am hoping to average 2 books a month.

My goal is to read much more intentionally this year. Mostly all Christian books, mainly nonfiction - with a few Christian fiction at night to go to sleep by.

Some of the books on my list are:
An Arrow Pointing to Heaven (Rich Mullins biography)
To Live is Christ (I just finished this one by Beth Moore)
Experiencing God

I am slightly limited in what I can read to free kindle books, or whatever my super tiny public library has (I live in a town with less than 2,000 population). If it's a book I *really* want, I can buy an occasional one. :) So I will be keeping a running list of "must buy" books!

I really enjoy reading Beth Moore. I am going to look at the Rich Mullins book. I understand about your budget. I am only purchasing books that we are reading, which are unavailable at my library. I'm trying to read the books that I have on my shelves or kindle.

mRose (mrosebarnett) | 4 comments I am really hoping to read MORE Christian living books. Last year I wanted to but when I look at my goodreads 2016 I just didn't :( So this year I'm determined to grow my relationship with Christ in this way. Y'know the more we focus on His word and our purpose in Him, the more we will do for Him and in Him.

I listened to the Pursuit of God this month, am reading Love not the World by Leedy and am planning on Respectable Sins. That's all I know so far.
