Radiantflux, WorldCat has 384, so do you have the book and what is last numbered page?
Yes. My copy has 464 pages. I just checked and it has the same ISBN as the Amazon link.
So the text of the story goes all the way to 464? I just want to be absolutely clear about it.
No the main text goes to 421 pages, than the thank you till 424, the an index for pictures on pages 425-426, then further reading from 427 - 441, then an index till 459, and then further reading from the publisher after that. So the total page count is 464.Isn't that how page numbers of books are normally counted?
When you say further reading what do you mean? We don't count any excerpts for other books, or ads for them either.We'd count the index for pictures.
So the count would 459?
Depends on what is the further reading you mentioned.
the further reading happens after page 459.
I think the confusion is that Worldcat has three listings. The first, has 358 pages, which is listed as a print book, but if you scroll down says it's for the ebook version:https://www.worldcat.org/title/dunkle...
the second has the page count at 458 and is for the print version:

the third, is an electronic reproduction of the print (whatever that means) and also lists 458 pages:

Radiantflux, as the original isbn listed in your first post is listed at 458 in WorldCat also, I'll add that to the edition. Sorry for the confusion, but WorldCat having the other page number as well, makes it messy.
