Total number of titles read in Dec for "short story"

In December, we had a total of 81 individual titles read for our "short story" tag.

We've had a few months with more than that, but not many. Of course, short stories are quicker and it's easier to fit more in!

I think I read the most this month of any so far and most were collections, so not any shorter than a traditional novel.

I read 3 collection books and three separate short stories, offering six of the 81 titles. I believe two of the six others read as well, the other four I was the only reader. Never before have I participated so vigorously in a challenge. I'm not even truly a great fan of short stories. But I greatly enjoyed the month.

I also read more books in December than I have ever read before (16!) in order to try and get to my goal for the year (75).

My first two (one audio, one not) were collections, but I read another three that were individual short stories. I'm not even sure I would have read that many, but I was away for the holiday and they two of the three individual ones were on my Kobo, so easy to access!

I'm not either, Amy. I think only one of the ones I read was over 3.5 stars, but it was actually a BBC audio adaptation of the book (The Birds - 5 stars!).
