I've been following one hoping to read it:

I know Bargle and I are following another one (that he had to repost, since the OP abandoned it):

Do you have a link to other examples like this? Please post in the comments.

Bargle | 1752 comments Let's see. I know I've been following more than a few. I've also read a bunch of books or added them to my TBR list that I've seen mentioned here.

Ingo (ilembcke) | 669 comments Although I have an unsolved thread by myself (and am thinking of opening 2 more), I follow quite a few other searches and have already bought and added books from this group based on the discussions here.
Just counted them, at least 10 - probably more, where I have not noted that I based the buying on this group.

This group and you people are the greatest, thanks!

I have definitely found new books to read on Novelist, which I occasionally go to to search for someone's unfound book. You can spend untold hours there (partly because the site tends to be buggy and slow...), each click bringing up new lists of books. It's definitely what the kids call "a time suck."

Justanotherbiblophile | 1814 comments Link to novelist?

Yeah, I've bought more than a couple books due to queries on here.

Dragon killed by a chicken

Girl trapped inside a book (but the original request I must've looked at doesn't show up in the topics list)

I get there via my public library's website, and I have to be logged in as a library member. Ask at your public library if they subscribe to it and if you can access it, or else root around on your public library's website.

There's NoveList K-8 for children's books and NoveList Plus which is children's plus adults.
