Roblin returned a few minutes later. "She agreed... more or less." He sighed. "It would be best if we didn't take too long."

"Yeah." Madeline grabbed his hand and leaped them to her house.((You start))
Madeline made sure she had all her stuff.
"Come on." Roblin jogged back to his room, careful not to drop any jars.
In his lab, Roblin started warming a cauldron over the fire.
"So... how do you add a star? Without it being realised. " Roblin added a few simple herbs to the mixture, splashing in a dark purple liquid. Thin smoke started crawling up the walls.
"I have no idea." Madeline said, backing up.
"Hey, you're supposed to be the expert at stars." Roblin stirred it carefully.
"Not on potions." Madeline said.
"Well, how am I supposed to be any better?" Roblin sighed.
"I thought you were the expert!" Madeline groaned.
Roblin groaned. "Fine." He grabbed a jar, and slapped on some thick gloves. He gingerly submerged the jar fully in the cauldron, keeping the lid on.
"Just wait." He slowly eased off the lid. The rainbow light danced brightly above the purple liquid. "This should work..."
"See-" The cauldron exploded, sending black iron lumps around the room. The room filled with black smoke, blinding both of them.
"And you were saying..." Madeline said, covered in soot.
Roblin groaned, a red welt forming on his forehead. "Ugh."
"Are you okay?" Madeline asked.
"It's probably nothing." Roblin held his head and waved the air in front of him to clear the smoke. "Why is there two of everything?" He said slowly.
Madeline rolled her eyes and clonked him on the head with her fist.
"Ow!" Roblin moaned. "What was that for?"
"Now are you seeing two of everything?" Madeline asked politely.
"No. Now I'm seeing four!" Roblin whined.
Madeline groaned. "Maybe we should get you to your aunt..." She mumbled.
Roblin shook his head, then winced it pain. "She won't let me out of her sight till the day I die. I'll be fine." He stumbled forward, leaning on the wall for support.
"Yeah, no chance." Madeline dragged him down the stairs. "Roblin's aunt??!!!" She hollered.
Margren was there in a flash. "What's wrong?" "Nothing!" Roblin protested.
"He's seeing four of everything. Some potion with a star exploded and now he's like that." Madeline told her.
Roblin elbowed Madeline before Margren pulled him away. "What have you done now?" She chided him, pulling his bangs back to get a good look.
Roblin flushed red from embarrassment. "Auntie, stop it!" He mumbled. She let go. "Wait here." She went upstairs to get some healing balms.
Roblin flushed darker. "Hey!" He mumbled.
"Never mention this again." He clutched his forehead.
"Kay." Madeline couldn't help but giggle.
"It's not funny!" Roblin protested. ((

Roblin groaned and Margren returned. "Here, just hold still." She smeared a smelly lotion on his forehead and Roblin gagged. "How did this happen?" She questioned Madeline.
"Um, we were doing an extra credit thing with potions and astronomy, and Roblin mixed Lambentine with some herbs or something, now this happened."
"A piece of cauldron hit my head, that's all!" Roblin protested, wiping off the lotion when she wasn't looking. "I'm perfectly fine."
"No you're not." Madeline said firmly.
Margren handed him a chunk of ice wrapped in a towel. "No more experimenting!" She stated, shaking her head. "This wouldn't happen if you were into a fine art like cooking." Roblin groaned.
"To your room. I swear I'll have that attic of yours boarded up if I have to!" Roblin sighed. "It's a lab!" "Sure it is." Margren simpered.
