I'm claiming two points for French Milk. This was promoted as an art-and-photo memoir about a mother and daughter bonding during an extended visit to Paris. Lady Bird it ain't. And it takes them forever just to leave the US. My advice is to skip straight to Knisley's Relish: My Life in the Kitchen for a foodie memoir with lovely color artwork.
