About what year did you read this? Author female or male? Remember the cover?
Its not the ruins. However i remember it did have a simple name. It was a thriller with a twist at the end. After she finds some lost papers or diary of a man who had been there years before her fighting a war possibly or exploring the ruins.

I read this book when I was about 17 years old im 27 now and loved it. The book had a seal saying it could be made into a movie. It was about a women traveling to a Hispanic regioned jungle to explore why a mass amount of people died, takes place post war. She ends up meeting a man who she ends up sleeping with unknown of his identity. No spoilers have been added yet the spoiler at the end would help the identity of this book. I feel as if the author is male. The cover was green and have a seal stating it may be turned into a movie. If you'd like to know this spoiler so you could further help me just ask.
