Erica Graham (erica_graham) | 46 comments Has anyone ever done a Createspace discount code? I am thinking about doing one, but wanted to hear experiences from others first. Is it easy? Does Creastspace charge a reasonable shipping fee for books in their store? Thank you in advance for any input you have!

I decided to give it a trial run. I went under my distribution channels and selected the createspace store. I had to set up my store for each book separately by personalizing the text colors, background colors, etc. All the book info was automatically loaded. Then I went back to my distribution channels and selected the discount code option next to the createspace store option. Once again I had to do this for all my books. As far as I understand, readers have to go to each page separately to access each individual book and add them to the cart. However, after adding the last book, all the books added previously should be in the cart at checkout. It is a little difficult to explain, but if you want to see an example of how it looks, check out the comments section of my profile page. If anyone knows how to put all your books on the same page so you don't have to open each book separately, please let me know! Thanks. :)

Ken (kendoyle) | 364 comments I did a discount code once with Createspace but didn't get much out of it. I think the problem is that the average reader has never heard of Createspace and would be reluctant to buy from their store when they could go to Amazon instead.

Now, if the discount codes would work on Amazon, that would be nice :)
