If you are participating, comment in here what you have accomplished. Having trouble finding a book that fulfills one of the prompts? Post in here and maybe people can give you some suggestions. Have Fun!

Liisa Ady (liisaady) I had just set my this year's goal to 40 - the perfect challenge for me:) I will surely join, also have to finish a few books I started:))

Risasukka | 5 comments I chose 52 books as my overall challenge but I am trying to use the PopSugar list (plus a local list) as a guide. As I am though trying to read mainly from our bookshelves it's unlikely that all would be found from the list.

Vicky Sharratt (isilsartari) | 10 comments OK I am interested. I thought popsugar would be a list of sugary romantic books, but the list is actually user friendly.

Robyn Dunkleberger | 3 comments I'm doing this - have most of my books determined. But I will change as the year goes on. That is what I did last year. I got 30 from the list read last year, hope to beat that this year.

Alethea | 5 comments Oh, heck, I'll have a go at this - it should be fun. Looking at my 2017 finishes so far, I can tick off:
A book by an author who uses a pseudonym (Bryony and Roses by T. Kingfisher)
A book by or about a person who has a disability (Maker Space - main character is blind)
A book involving travel (Lost Among the Living)
A book published in 2017 (Dusk or Dark or Dawn or Day)
A book involving a mythical creature (Greek Key
A book about food (Pride's Spell
A book with a red spine (The Folding Knife - I think; read in ebook but the background of the cover is red.)
A book with pictures (Rise Up Swearing - technically a webcomic, and I actually read through it completely online, but I figure it counts)
The first book in a series you haven't read before (Digital Divide)

I reserve the right to reassign books as necessary, since there are a number here that could fit into more than one category...

I have been using one book for more than one category, I am not sure if that is allowed, but there shouldn't be rules for reading!

Oh, agreed! I just read 150 books last year (in what was a terrible and very overwhelming year) and am well on track to read more than that this year. If I want this challenge to stretch me more than a couple of books worth, I have to stick to a one-category-per-book limit.
