I have to admit I used the special rule on Xs our moderator so graciously gave us on the author name - I went with Maxwell. On the title one, I happened to luck out on finding a short story that started with the letter when looking at recommendations that GR gave based on another book I had read. I probably would not have picked it up if it were not for the challenge. It was pretty good though and its author is now on my up-and-coming authors to look for list.
