~Look Down, You're Talking to Your Highness~[R]

I don't think I specifically said where Emily went to school, it would've been a generic magic school. But she was one of the first to arrive after the school was rebuilt. Maybe that's how she met your necromancer? Because your necromancer also wanted a job but wasn't sure what was best for her, and since Emily was being her usual weird self she offered for her to be her assistant. And after she got her powers stolen she was worried her assistant would leave because she was no longer 'special', but was really overjoyed when she decided to stay, if only to prevent Emily from accidentally wrecking the place with her cooking.

I was thinking about having my character have a passion for cooking which was looked down on due to her powers. Either they're born with certain types of magic available or they're sorted into a class or something, but few people get to choose. Most necromancers would take jobs as like morticians or people who conduct seances, but she wants to cook and she's looked down on. Maybe she was invited to help teach cooking and accepted because she hated her society? Not too sure. I'm still stuck on personality which I DON'T want to be gloomy. Seems rather cliche for someone who has powers over the grave, you know?

You could make her more like my character Caramel, who controls darkness but is really happy and colorful and bubbly and excitable, and always wears bright colors. She even says her real name Tamsa means darkness, but calls herself Caramel since it's a lot happier and cheerful, if you read that earlier RP when she explained that to White.

Possibly. I just don't want her to be too similar to Emily, you know? What do you think I should NOT do so they aren't too similar personality wise?

Well, I wouldn't necessarily say Emily has ALL of those traits. Her biggest trait is that she's scatterbrained and airheaded, so someone who's more observant and level-headed would be a good match. Emily also offers good advice, so maybe someone who offers really pointless or random advice?

Well duh :p They can share some traits of course but I don't want her to feel like a clone of Emily.

Nah don't do something fandom related :P

Well if nobody else gets my fandoms then nobody's allowed to get your fandoms either :P Besides a ghoul would just scare people.

Okay, that first part doesn't even make any sense ;p
True, but these aren't like monster ghouls. As one person in Fallout 3 says, "You see, children, ghouls are simply humans who've been exposed to an ungodly amount of radiation and haven't had the good fortune to die." They look like zombies and are treated with fear and hate because of it but they're just people who, as said have been exposed to an ungodly amount of radiation and haven't had the good fortune to die.
But no fandoms, don't worry. I just thought it'd be funny :p

I know what ghouls are dude :P

Mom's also obsessed with Skyrim and Dragon Age. Bet if I went downstairs right now she'd be playing Skyrim.

My middle brother is sixteen and my baby brother is twelve and a half. We only call him the baby because well....he's the baby.

Your brother is 12 and a half and he can play Fallout?! Good golly Miss Molly!!

I think I'm like 5'2 or something like that, but I look way shorter than that. When Dad saw me after several years he expressed genuine concern and asked multiple times if I was malnourished... >.<

Woah. I'm like... 5'10?

I'm really tired, I'm going to go to bed. I'll wake up sometime later. Hopefully in the afternoon, but I make no promises.

Would you be angry if I showed this to Sera so it's brought to her attention? I won't do it if you tell me not to, but I think she should know.

To whatever our last post will be.

I wish you didn't feel like an outsider, but I want you to know that I haven't felt that way about you ever. And if I thought you would mess up something by having your characters with mine, I wouldn't have started doing that. But if I recall correctly, most of the relationships between your characters and mine have been instigated by me. So don't think you're forcing it, because I love having you part of it all!
As for the whole Touko and Coral thing, it was actually a bit difficult for me to figure out a good role for you to play one of the characters related to mine. I remember that you'd briefly said you wanted to have one of the family members, so I started thinking hard for what would work. The second it hit me, I knew Touko's kid would be perfect! If I'd fully gone detailed in L's profile, Touko would have had a much bigger role, but since L's profile was two posts long already and it probably would have spanned to at least 4....not to mention that I was impatient in wanting to get her done, I didn't mention Touko at all.
Anyway, the point is that you shouldn't feel like you're intruding, because I really don't think you are! You're really not messing with anything, and at this point, you're not an outsider anymore. So I think you should stop feeling that way ;)

Also, YOU'RE BACK! 8Bounes around with excitement*

I guess some of my video game fandoms are well known among GAMERS, but unless you're a hardcore gamer or know hardcore gamers you probably wouldn't be familiar with.
I have one fandom where besides my immediate family, the ONLY person I know who knows about it is Sera.

But I love that fandom since unlike a lot of other fandoms, even though it stretches back to the mid-1950's, we remember our history and respect it. The original 1954 Japanese Godzilla is out on Blu-Ray. Toys R Us has figurines of really obscure characters like King Caesar. We acknowledge both the old and new movies are good, even if there are lots of flawed ones inbetween.
Plus even though the fandom is 98% males, they don't get all uppity when some girl comes in and starts talking about Godzilla, which is pretty cool. I've told some hardcore fans I'm a girl and they're just like: "Cool. So what are your thoughts on Gigan's origins?"
I'm sorry I didn't mean to talk so much about the Godzilla fandom....but I'm proud of that fandom. Sure, it has its immature fans and bad events here and there, but so does every fandom.

What sort of deep messages do they have? I always thought they were just "Big monster climbs out of oceans and wrecks stuff" but if they have a deeper meaning I'd love to hear it!!
I admire the dudes in this fandom already. They're respectful...which is more than I can say for many guys in the Star Wars fandom. 'Star Wars isn't for girls!" or "Your favorite character must be Leia/Padme/Rey/Jyn since you're a girl, right?"
Ugh. I'm a guy and I hate guys most of the time.
It's all good! It's something you like and I'd love to hear more about it.

When Rodan came along a few years later, he was designed as a red prehistoric creature that represented the threat of being hit by a nuclear bomb from the Soviet Union.
A lot of the earlier movies obviously dealt with radiation, but they also dabbled in other issues, like pollution(giving with to another one of my favorite monsters, Hedorah, a monster born from sewage sludge), capitalism, and even poverty.
My favorite decade of movies, from the 1980's-1990's dealt with another theme entirely-the advancement of technology and how it could be a bad thing. All the monsters from those movies were created from the misuse of science technology, usually someone thinking they were doing something good before it backfires. This is where my favorite monster Biollante comes from. She represents the dangers of genetic experimenting.
The third generation from 2000-2004 dealt with a ton of end of the world scenarios....and weren't really the best, in my opinion. The only good one that the fandom agrees on is Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. It DID have an AMAZING soundtrack.
Now we're in a new decade of Godzilla movies, with two already made: Godzilla 2014 in America, and Godzilla: Resurgence in Japan, which is the scariest Godzilla movie in my opinion. Both movies represent human reactions to certain natural disasters. More movies are planned for the future, so only time will tell what direction these movies go in.
But Leia IS my favorite character! :P I don't know why the guys in the Godzilla fandom are like that. I'm not saying they shouldn't be, it's just kinda strange. Maybe it's because we ourselves have no idea what gender Godzilla itself is even supposed to be, they keep changing it haha. Usually he's called a guy, but sometimes, like in Godzilla: Resurgence, they give evidence she's a girl....so who knows.

I have to ask: What do you think of Godzilla versus King Kong? I KNOW that's a thing :p
I'm not saying you can't like Leia. I was saying boys in the Star Wars fandom are stupid because they assume that even if a girl is a "Star Wars fan" ((and the way they say it is meant to say they're fake fans)) that her favorite character must be one of the four I listed because those characters are girls.

The new studio that owns Godzilla here in America said they'll only make that movie if Kong: Skull Island reached #1 at the box office, and nobody thought that would happen since it's such a niche fanbase. But it reached #1 at the box office! Which means we get Godzilla VS Kong! I was so proud of the fandom that day. All the other fans were celebrating since we were all nervous that movie would flop hardcore since the studio used up a bunch of money marketing it.

Would you watch those movies with me? If I get confused

A lot of the characters are related to OTHER characters of their that have already been around a while and have been at the school pretty much their whole lives. So new arrivals aren't going to have much, if any history with other characters unless they came from the same world and knew each other already. For example, Asmund and Alveyra both studied at the College of WInterhold and hate each other for different reasons, while Ryker and Dante have been friends their entire lives but Dante is jealous of Ryker because of his status as a trollhunter and his ability to learn fast.
We can make more characters together; I'd love to do that!
Maybe my necromancer and Emily went to school together or something? Or they could spend a lot of time together talking about magic and cooking.
