In between my veins,
a toxic madness
survives,

And within my heart,
a deadly sadness
thrives.

They say that deep within the inner dwellings of the autumn forest an asylum lies. Once inhabited by the critically insane. The screams of those maddened souls still echo down the abandoned halls, stripped of any sign of life. They say that no one lives there but the spirits of those who spent their last breaths out of touch with the very fabric of reality. They're wrong. One hundred years after the asylum fell out of commission, a man by the name of Edgar Ravewood discovered the asylum.
This man was of strange inquiry, and he banded a team of people who searched far and wide for those with unusual abilities, and took them there. After he passed, the asylum fell into the clutches of Blair Lilith Ravenwood, of whom had grown up there. There was an accident, it happened only ten years ago, every supernatural who'd been living there died at the hands of an experiment gone wrong. And Blair, saddened by the mishap, took to experimenting on herself. Eventually the experiments forced her into a state of hysteria, drove her mad, made her believe that there was a threat coming. She continued her father's work, gathering those with mystical powers, building an army to entertain her wild flights of fantasy.
