Holly | 19 comments I used to read between 50 & 75 books per year some years, but in the past 6 or 7 years it's been harder for me, for reasons I won't go into. In 2015 I read only 10 books. In 2016, it was around 30 or 31. So I am feeling proud of that and more confident in setting a higher goal for this year, 48 books.

Mine are divided into categories--Books I Own (but haven't read), Re-reads, Memoirs & Biographies, and New to me/Library/Ebooks. You can see them on my profile, under my books:

Holly | 19 comments My picks for January, one book taken from each list, are these:

How to Sell Your Crafts Online (books I own list)
The Writing Diet--Julia Cameron (re-reads, although this is also a book I own)
One Writer's Beginnings--Eudora Welty (memoirs, although also a book I own and a re-read, but I've been wanting to read it again for a while)
As Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust--Alan Bradley (new-to-me/library)

One fiction, three nonfiction. The fiction one is part of a series I have been reading for several years & love, and this is the next one in the series. After it will be Thrice the Brinded Cat Hath Mew'd, and then I'll be caught up in that series.
