This is a year long challenge. Every month you will read one book published before you were born. Just use this thread to update your progress.
(ex:
January-1978 The Stand by Stephen King 5 stars)
Have fun and discover some great books.

You're doing great! I totally flaked on The Hitchhikers Guide in Feb so I thought I'd read it in March but I couldn't get into it. Then I just never went and picked up a different book lol

Marie | 149 comments Thanks Joycedale! I'm enjoying the challenge, reading some classics for the first time and re-reading some others.
Maybe you can find a fun book for May. You could match it to one of the other challenges like alphabet or color

So for this month I started Harvest Home but I couldn't get into it. Yesterday I went to the library and picked up And Then There Were None. I'm a little over halfway through so I'll actually finish one this month!

I have to say other than that one book I've had good luck with good books

Marie | 149 comments I forgot to post my books after May but I'll catch up in my postings this week.
Hope we can continue this challenge next year and more people join. It's helped me pick up a few books I meant to read long ago.
