Rock Name: Nguyễn Thuy Mai
Title: Her Imperial Highness Princess Thuy Mai
Country of Rule Vietnam
First Name: Nguyễn
Middle Name: Thuy (Friendly. Gentle)
Last Name: Mai (Cherry Blossom)
Aliases: She goes by Mai, as Vietnamese names go family name, middle name, given name. Which is opposite of English names.

Age: 17
Date of Birth: March 20th
Zodiac Pisces
Birthstone Aquamarine

Year in School: Junior: 17

Family:
Mother: Nguyễn Lệ Xuân
Father: Nguyễn Phúc Ưng Kỷ
Sister: Nguyễn Dao Chi

Biological Information
Appearance
Standing at about only 5 feet tall and one hundred pounds, Mai fits the role of being a cute and petite girl with a bit more curves than her twin sister. With long black hair and brown eyes, Mai is starting to look rather mature for her small frame. A small frame that matches with with her soft and sweet voice she uses to capture the hearts of many. Despite her small frame she is royalty and carries herself as such. Even if her noble air slips from time to time due to her more curious personality.
Clothing:(view spoiler)
Gender Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight

Personality:
Mai could be considered rather immature for her position and upbringing. It's easy to make her laugh, smile, and to also distract her from her duties. Perhaps it is the new location in an entirely different culture, but she seems to want to experience everything while she is here at Heartfield Academy. Her quickness to drop her facade of nobility in order to learn something new or fun makes her a rather interesting sigh. With a soft voice and a great smile she holds an air of kindness where one wouldn't feel judged based upon there actions, and that she is safe to talk to. Due to her more bubbly personality it can be quite hard for someone to cause her grief, and the time she does get knocked down she goes down hard. Taking much longer to recover from an emotional event compared to others with more strong personalities. Despite her eagerness and easily distracted mind she does know how to hold herself properly in public (As long as she doesn't have any friends with her). With her being raised to be respectful and proper in all situations. Most people who don't know her would see her as well behaved, but after she gets to know someone she may start to reveal her more eager and loud sides.

History:
Born to the Nguyễn dynasty, Mai was born first (technically) between her and her twin sister. The two grew up at the only two children the current heir to Vietnam could seem to produce from his wife, which put a lot of stress on the family as they had to keep trying until they gave birth to a man. Which spoke loads to how the two kids were to be treated as they grew older. The two girls were loved, but not given assurances of how there lives would go. The two girls were simply going to be married off to powerful families in order to help the dynasty grow in power. Neither Mai and her sister were upset about this though. They were taught from a young age that this is the most honorable thing they could do for there families, but it seemed that this honor would come creeping up on them sooner then they thought. With their current relations between Siam getting worse by the day, and France's insistence on become a "protectorate" of Vietnam, and China having taken over the country in the past. It was clear that struggle and war were on its way.

This lead to Mai and Chi facing a rather stressful young life with them meeting many potential suitors while also preparing them for war. Luckily it seemed no one was had made any more drastic moves as the girls grew in age, and they had yet to married, and were lucky enough to not loose too much due to the struggles the country was facing. Although this did shape up a bit of how the girls viewed the world.

Mai grew curious about the many other countries out there in the world, and the strange and different cultures they all had. She dreamed of traveling the world one day to see it all. Maybe marry a rich noble in some far off country and see all the amazing things there country had to offer. The concept of marrying herself off grew into a big ordeal in her head where she thought she could marry herself off to some other countries royals and have them help her country from being taken over by France. Although, those were just childish ideals and they were soon pushed to the back of her head as she started to mature and truly understand the complications of marrying into a royal family like that.

Eventually her family decided to send her off to Heartfield Academy to get her "Educated" but in reality it was to get her married off to one of the other royal or noble families there. Although, strangely enough Mai was given a choice. Perhaps understanding that she was a bit of a free spirit, or simply because they themselves didn't know whom she should try to peruse, but either way she was more focused on the fact she finally got the chance to travel to an entirely different country!

Religion Tam Giáo

Other: Vietnam in this time was currently dealing with a war against Siam while also facing some persistence by France to become their protectorate, so she has some distaste for interacting with France and it's nobles/royals.

Rock Name: Nguyễn Dao Chi
Title: Her Imperial highness Princess Dao Chi
Country of Rule Vietnam
First Name: Nguyễn
Middle Name: Dao (Peach Blossom)
Last Name: Chi (Tree Branch)
Aliases: She goes by Chi, as Vietnamese names go family name, middle name, given name. Which is opposite of English names.

Age: 17
Date of Birth: March 20th
Zodiac Pisces
Birthstone Aquamarine

Year in School: Junior: 17

Family:
Mother: Nguyễn Lệ Xuân
Father: Nguyễn Phúc Ưng Kỷ
Sister: Nguyễn Thuy Mai

Biological Information
Appearance
Standing at 5'1'' and 107 lbs Chi is the slightly taller yet still rather short twin sister of Mai. Compared to Mai she has a much more stern and cold look to her. Making her look a bit more reserved and serious. With a bit less curves to help differ Chi from her more adventurous sister. Although, past being slightly taller and slightly less curvy, the two look can look rather similar as they share the same black hair and brown eyes that they tend to style the same way. Although it's easy to tell the two apart based off of what they wear and how they hold themselves. As Chi tends to wear more Reds, and carries herself more upright. While Mai wears more green and has just a slightly less strict posture in how she holds herself.
Clothing:(view spoiler)
Gender Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight

Personality:
Chi was raised just like her sister to be mature and proper in all situations, but unlike her sister she actually took those lessons to heart and became the more mature sister. She always seems to hold herself in a calculative and formal way. Treating every encounter as if it were one she was holding with a king or queen. Even going so far as to barley having any accounts of her laughing or smiling past a small chuckle or slight twitch of her lip. That isn't to say she can't laugh or smile. She simply hides those emotions in her because it is what is called from her due to her position. After all. With such an air headed sister, she needs to be on her best behavior in order to keep her and her sister's pride in check.

∞ Can stay calm in most situations

Weaknesses:
∞ Can't resists bad puns
∞ Can be too cautious
∞ Has a hard to not acting formal
∞ Takes a while for her to forgive someone

History:
Being born a twin, Chi had spent her entire life with her sister Mai. The two of them were inseparable, and held a deep connection for one another. The two of them loved dressing the same, styling the same, and even sometimes talking at the same time. They were inseparable for the longest time. To the point they wouldn't even leave the same room as the other, but eventually the two grew apart. Although, this was meant in a more literal sense than from any emotional or relational sense. The simply just reached an age where they finally felt comfortable enough to dress differently, have different opinions, and finally stop sleeping in the same bed as the other. They still loved each other deeply, it was just that they had finally started growing up into the women they were going to be.

Mai was the one who started to change first. Becoming more bubble and excitable. She had more energy than Chi ever thought she could muster, and soon enough this caused the young Mai to get into trouble, and in response Chi became more responsible. Not for her own sake so that her parents would stop punishing both whenever Mai got in trouble, but because Chi herself wanted to keep her sister from getting in trouble in the first place. The young girl grew more stern and formal as a sort of inner desire to balance out her sisters more free and goofy personality.

As the two grew older, Chi slowly started to get recognized as the more proper and mature of the sisters, and because of this she became a sort of star child for the Nguyễn family, or at least the one they tried to marry off first due to her maturity, and was task with being treated as the sort of heir to the family's throne. As their father and mother seemed to have a problem producing a child, and Chi seemed a competent enough woman to take charge in the event of something happening to her father.

That wasn't to say that Mai was left out, nor ignored by her sister, in fact. The two grew closer around this time as a sort of response to their increasing amount of responsibilities. As besides the apparent lack of a male heir, it was clear that France and Siam were about to get more rough with each other in the current years. The insistence of marriage and the responsibility of protecting themselves in the time of war made the twins grow closer as they confided in each other their worries and stresses about the coming years.

Luckily though, it seemed everything stayed under her father's control. With France and Siam being manageable by the country, for the time being, the girl's duties were softened and the instance of marriage pushed back on there agenda. Although the remnants of that stress stayed with Chi and produced itself as the woman growing even more stern and formal as a way to mask her stress and help her feel more protective of her sister.

Eventually the twins were offered the chance at going to Heartfield academy, a school their parents were not interested in sending them as the twins were more tools for marriage than people they felt needed an education, but with their mother finally getting pregnant by some miracle, and her intuition making her feel it was a boy. The twins were sent of to school for two reasons. To get educated in the even the child was a girl (this reason being more of an excuse to send them to the school ), and to find a man to marry in the event the child was a man. as Vietnam would need more powerful allies in the coming years if they hoped to keep France from taking over.

Chi cooks her own food due to a fear of being poisoned that was given to her from a young age.
