What are You Reading Besides a Cozy?

ETA: Probably should have said that resolution more military or political thriller type not cozy. I find this satisfying but many cozy non thriller readers may not.

I enjoyed this series very much. One day I will read them again.

This is the second time I’m reading this. I followed the real time read of A Discovery of Witches from mid September through October. Then the All Souls group did a read along for Shadow of Night because a real time read wasn’t feasible. Due to Season w of the A Discovery of Witches TV series premiering on January 8-9this year they aren’t continuing on to read The Book of Life so I’m reading it on my own. I haven’t read Time’s Convert yet bur plan to.

I had heard that the TV episodes are not the same as the book. One day I hope to see the episodes. Time's Convert wasn't as great, IMO, as the trilogy. Happy reading!

I’m curious about this book. Please let us know how you like it.

Love it! And it is the first in a trilogy so more books to come!

It was excellent, highly recommend

I'd read most of it on website but loved the changes and the rest of the story. Now the long wait for the next one they say they will probably write.

I do love Ilona Andrews' books. I am waiting for Blood Heir in audio form.

I read that early in the month wasn't crazy about it but it has a very good ending.

I felt some parts were slow and not something I would normally read if it weren't for the fact I needed a black cover for a challenge. But it did make me do a lot of thinking; I still feel sorry for Addie.

Nice calm reading in time of chaos. One of my favs is Miss Buncle's Book.
Right now I'm reading Fletchers End

I had never heard of this author. Read her bio on GR and learned she was a very popular author who published 40 books!

Can you feel my tbr groaning? 😄 I put your fave on my library wait list; I read the synopsis and it just sounded so good. I know I have a couple of the author's other books here somewhere; one day I may actually be able to find them!

Earlier this year I have read See Them Die by Ed McBain which is the 13th in the 87th Precinct series. Again GR refuses to offer the book when I add book. Also read Year of the Unicorn by Andre Norton Book 3 in the Witch World series.
