ROMANCE SCI-FI CATEGORY Ally Condie creates a world in which human will is minimized. Humans live to be eighty, they cannot choose their career, and once they come of age they are matched as the system sees fit. Cassia is seventeen and has reached her matching day, but something goes terribly wrong for her; she has two matches instead of one. No one has ever known the system to make a mistake, but now Cassia is faced with a difficult decision: she must choose between her match and the mysterious boy she is quickly falling in love with. Though the novel romanticizes teenage love and seems to fill any holes with exaggerated emotion, the novel has interesting plot twists and all the creativity a science fiction should have. If any teen wants to be immersed in a romance this novel is one on par with twilight.
