Do you like these books, Fiona? I've enjoyed the series and James is the sweetest man!

Fiona | 11 comments Love the series - both books are signed - the most recent at event in March 2017 at Toppings Bookshop in St Andrews which was lovely (one of my favourite bookshops)

My friend and I had completed the Fife Coastal Path last autumn and whilst I knew James had a farm in North Fife we hadn't realised we were walking beside his farm

Fiona | 11 comments Book number two completed - Written in Bones by James Oswald and now up to date with Inspector McLean.

On to book number three 'A Petrol Scented Spring' by Ajay Close which is this months book for my local book group - need to speed up as I have to finish ready for discussion next weekend.

Fiona | 11 comments Book Number three completed - my book group read for last month

A Petrol Scented Spring by Ajay Close - fiction based on real life characters involved in the Scottish Suffragettes - once I got past the horrific descriptive sections glad I have read. It is based around my home town of Perth yet I had no knowledge of these local events

Keep the Midnight Out by Alex Gray - reading the Lorimer series completely out of order but enjoying. Hopefully manage a few more Alex Gray this year

Fiona | 11 comments Book number 5 completed - Orkney Twilight by Clare Carson

Sorry but only two stars from me - didn't enjoy writing style and none of the characters were particularly likeable

Glad you said that, I felt a bit disloyal living in Orkney, but this book fell short for me too.
