What did you think of it? Favorite or least favorite characters? Favorite or least favorite part?

Tiffany Vaughn | 2 comments Already on page 66. Started an hour and 15 mins ago. I think I found a new favorite author for 2017! :) So glad I got this book last month. :3

Also this book's cover is soo beautiful!

Hannah (hannahlote) | 4 comments I read this last month and it took me a while to get into it. I think it's because I didn't actually care much for the two characters romantically but loved them both separately. Gave it 4 stars in the end.

Sara | 11 comments I got this book in my Uppercase BOTM box. Starting this one today!

Jessie | 1 comments Ahhhhh I loved this book just as much as Everything, Everything. I loved Daniel's character, Natasha I didn't connect with as much for some reason. I found the occasional use of other perspectives really interesting, although some of them I found unnecessary. I liked Irene & Charlie's perspective but didn't care much for the parent's. I honestly think one of the main reasons I enjoyed this book so much was because I loved Daniel's perspectives, I also love the humour Nicola Yoon uses when writing. Overall I rated this book 5/5 because I also liked the use of different races and their lifestyles.

Kayla Troutman (kayla_maet29) | 3 comments I got this book from Blogging for Books and I had finished reading it within 2 days of starting. It is such a good story and I can't wait to get Everything, Everything by her also. Her writing is amazing. I love how she ended the story also. It is beautiful and I am absolutely in love with it.

Danielle (Life of a Literary Nerd) (lifeofaliterarynerd) My favorite part of the book was the insight chapters from the periphery characters - like Irene, Charlie, Jeremy Fitzgerald. It opened up the world in the story and just connected everyone is messy and complicated ways.

Beverly | 55 comments The whole time I was reading, I kept thinking about how important and relevant this story is right now. I hope everyone reads it with an open mind and a desire to become more empathetic to immigrant experiences. I thought the writing was beautiful. "What if we are just a digression in someone else's history?" "It's like knowing all the words to a song but still finding them beautiful and surprising." Can't wait for Nicola Yoon's next novel.

— Massiel (rollitosdecanela) | 4 comments Do you guys recommend Everything, Everything and this book? I'm a little uncertain about reading this two books.

Jaspavan i read this about a month ago and its such a good story! i don't usually like stories where the characters fall in love in literally a day but damn this book completely changed my opinion. the characters were so well developed and the switch in perspectives from the main two characters (daniel and natasha) to the other side characters was really unique and made me root for daniel and natasha so much more. I feel as though i prefer natasha to daniel because daniel's way of taking everything as a "sign" kind of grated on me initially. overall this book is a great read and i can't wait to read more of nicola yoon's work :)

Laura (laurawantsmora) I loved the way the book was broken up, with all the perspectives and the random (or not so random) tidbits. I actually learned a few things which is not something I can usually say about fiction books.

Reyna (curlysreads) | 1 comments I began reading this today and I'm obsessed with Daniel. Really enjoying this book !

message 13: by Emma (new) - rated it 5 stars

Emma K (emmatk) | 1 comments I loved the layout of the book and all the side characters and their backstories. The book felt very real and relatable. Loved it and I got a new perspective on the struggles of illegal immigrants.

Rachael (rachaelsfantasyland) This book was amazing! Plot twist after plot twist, the book had me reeling (but in a good way)! And that ending! (Don't worry, I wont spoil it lol.)

Beverly | 55 comments Circe: I've read both. Loved both. But they are very, very different. I found Everything Everything so moving I could not put it down. The Sun Is Also A Star was a more relaxed read. Both are sad but hopeful.

Stella (stellamarys) | -8 comments Erika wrote: "What did you think of it? Favorite or least favorite characters? Favorite or least favorite part?"

First good book i read this year this book should be a movie

Debra Jo Reads (debrajo) I read this the very end of December and I added it to my shelf for the poll but it isn't showing progress

Juuso | 227 comments I read this book last year and i just loved it so much! I am for sure re-reading it this year! I loved almost all of the characters and i did not have any favorite part, but the end was good and emotional!

Hi! I read both books The Sun is Also a Star I gave it 4 stars and Everything, Everything 2 stars. Thanks for the comment <3!

Juuso | 227 comments Just finished my re-read! This was not sadly as good as the first time i read this, but still enjoyed!

tia (t_luvsreading) | 92 comments I also just re-read it and agree with you

Bláthnaid I finished this book about a week ago, and have to say I completely underwhelmed and disappointed. After reading Everything Everything a few tears back, I was expecting a lot from this book and my expectations were just let down, I think the main thing for me was the time line which I didn’t like at all.

it was ok haha

Unknown Reader I actually really liked this book for it’s writing style and characters. The romance was good but I liked the way the characters were written the best.
Every character, even those that appear for 2 pages, was written like they had a story of their own and not just as ‘plot points’ which I really admired.

The plot itself was given depth through the povs of all the character. Everything happens in a DAY, yet the story seems complex enough to be memorable.

Some of the stuff is obviously unrealistic and seems like a stretch , especially the falling in love in a day part. But it does seem hopeful and makes you believe in many things.

Overall, I did like this book as it gave me a whole experience.

Yashvi (yashvi0503) | 2 comments I really enjoyed this book. The concept was amazing and the fact that so many different perspectives of even minor characters were given made it all the more interesting. The fact that everything happens in a day is a bit unrealistic but it's not a bad book. It just makes one believe (in what, idk, but in something for sure.)

i loved the book my favorite charcter is daniel because he continues to try to make natasha fall in love with him. it works in the end.

message 27: by lea? (new) - rated it 4 stars

lea? I read this book with my best friend. I really don’t think it gets enough hype.

Atira | 36 comments This book was a definite something. I love how they portray the characters as Black and Asian. Although, I would definitely liked a better ending! I'm all here for this book.

message 29: by Mace (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mace (fangirlproblems) | 12 comments I loved the character development for this book! However, the premise was rather unrealistic and the sudden realizations didn't make much sense. But it was a good reminder about how all of our actions are tied to everyone else.

Patricia Mae (patriciaflair) | -18 comments I haven't read it yet and I add this to my TBR list. I'm excited to read this book:D

ash🐞 (ash_reads_books) I thought it was okay at first
