I'm sure you'll like "The Lincoln Lawyer" and you'll want to read "The Brass Verdict". It sounds like you've read the Harry Bosch series. I absolutely love both series.

Just finished Dragonfly in Amber. Loved it! Cried through through the whole scene of Claire leaving (which I assumed would be the end of this book)! Then had to stay up to read to the end when I realized there was more to go. Didn't put it down till 3am! It was worth it!
