I just started reading Blood Shot by Sara Paretsky. My first V.I. Warshawski, I'm enjoying it so far.

I'm still listening to Rapture by J.R. Ward but I finished by Amanda Quick. I started reading a new author to me. The book is by Brad Magnarella. His Professor Croft series is similar to the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. I also bought the fourth book in the Inspector Hobbes series, by Wilkie Martin. The Hobbes books are hilarious and not to be missed.

I finished reading 2 books yesterday:

The Dark Lake by Sarah Bailey and A Merciful Death by Kendra Elliot

Both are excellent with strong female leads. The Dark Lake is meaty with a great plot and interesting backstory for the MC. A Merciful Death has a great sense of place and the prepper community is fascinating.

Highly recommend both!

I think if people are going to use covers, they should also use the title. Even if you're not using the app, some of those covers are so tiny you can't read the covers easily.
