The future involves board games, friends, limoncello (but we learnt from last year, one glass, not two bottles), risotto, and wine.
Oh and a LOT of tiramisu. We have some friends passed out in the spare flat, and we are doing a couple of things before collapsing.

Oh I got the water thawed only to have it froze again. Different place this time. I running temps right with Janice though. We we're in the -30 range which celcius or Fahrenheit it doesn't really matter at this point. It is supposed to warm up to -6F with a wind chill of ,-30 for today. That's the high. Lol

Yeah, -40 is where the two scales meet. But when you're getting to the -30, it doesn't really matter. It's just damned cold. As my dad would say, "you know it's cold when your nostril hairs freeze".

My battery guy tests batteries and alternators for free. Then his stuff is quite a but cheaper than a dealer to boot. His whole business is fixing and selling batteries, alternators and starters. Not sure if he'd replace your battery in your vehicle for free it a little but of labor. If I drive the vehicle to his place he just hands me the wrenches and I fix it in his parking lot myself

She explained that they had some sophisticated testing equipment, but in my opinion, it's just a cash grab. They charged me $100 just for labour to clean the corrosion from the battery pan and install the new battery.

Happy New Year, Everyone! We decided to stay home this year. We are both feeling tired and just not in the mood to go out. We are excited about the new year, but will be just as happy tomorrow when we are well rested as we would be if we decided to go out.

Funny, I hadn't considered that Rusalka and others are already in 2018, so not only a different day, but a different year from me. lol Hope you all are having a great new year's.
