Alison (a1ison74) | 1050 comments In terms of page numbers does it have to be more than 100 pages or would a book with exactly 100 pages be OK?

message 102: by Karen ⊰✿, Avaricious Reader (new)

Karen ⊰✿ | 3767 comments Rules say "more than 100 pages" so you'd need a book of 101 pages

Alison (a1ison74) | 1050 comments Thanks I thought that would be the case.

Venecia | 131 comments I saw that for anthologies, we use the editors name for the "author" slot, but if a book is co-authored, for example Cut & Run (Cut & Run, #1) by Abigail Roux by Abigail Roux Madeleine Urban can I use both author's names to fill my slots?

For co-authored books you are able to use both authors.

Thank you.

Will we have another one this year?

message 108: by Alison (new)

Alison (a1ison74) | 1050 comments This is a very book specific question but would you say Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is number 8 in the series or a standalone?

GR doesn't connect it to the rest of the series but the blurb describes as the 8th story.

We usually only run Unu once a year, but if you want to play we might be able to add you to a team, please use the sign up form

I'm going to say no to this one. The blurb has it listed as book 8, but GR does not consider this to be a primary Harry Potter book.

Alison (a1ison74) | 1050 comments No worries I figured with different authors and format it'd be standalone (unless there's a part 3 coming) but the blurb confused me so I didn't know where to put it.

Jennifer J. | 561 comments Does a book finished in April count for April if it was started in February?

UNO Pixie | 1839 comments Jennifer wrote: "Does a book finished in April count for April if it was started in February?"

The book can only be used in the month it was finished - so yes :)

Diane Woods | 81 comments For some reason, I can't find this anywhere. Is it okay to read short story books as long as they are 100 pages or more?

Yes, as long as they are over 25 000 words.

Can the book be any cover...does it have to be the cover for the version you are reading?

It needs to be the edition you are reading.

Jennifer J. | 561 comments If a book has a colon in the title can you use the portion after the colon for the task "Read a book where all the letters in Haux can be found in the title"...example Took: A Ghost Story. Can we use the whole title as it appears or just "Took"?

Caly ☯ Crazy Book Lady So in the April mini challenge there is a prompt
Read a book with an important character is younger than 15

Would a dog work? He is the MC of the book.

message 122: by Perks Moderator, Know-it-all (new)

Perks Moderator | 594 comments The title is considered to start with "took"

The dog can work for a different goal where the character is an animal
