How many books have you read this year?

Just curious...am I a crazy nut? I joined Goodreads in April and logged a few books that I had read prior to that, but since April, 2016 I have read 206 books. Should I push and try to read 216 in 2016? LOL How many books have others read this year???

I did the GR challenge to read 100 books this year and I made it:) Yay! Although, the number is higher because there is a few I didn't add and some books that were read as ARCs.

I say up the challenge next year. I know I'm gonna:) *wink*

Well I average about one book every two days, sometimes get one done in a day. I just love romance books and there are SOOOOO many I still have on my to read list...going into 2018! ACK!

I hear ya, I'm the same. I'm a really fast reader and I just love reading! So much to read, so little time...

I didn't join GR until August and so set my goal at only 40. But I read 53 so I feel really good about that. Of course, my writing time suffered, but... I read some GREAT books.

Nancy, I am in awe of you and Lisa. You both make me wanna put a goal of 200 for 2017. I was worried I wouldn't get 100 (but I did *grins*). You guys need to stop tempting me...

@Miss Lisa: You are certainly not a crazy nut at all! You're just reading like a legit boss ^_~

I only joined GR in May (I think?) but wasn't active till July, maybe? Can't remember haha! I'm really bad at marking books as read, though, unless they're for indies, and even then, I post those on our "group" GR account so they don't even show up on mine...

So that was my roundabout way of saying I think I've read ~50 books in the past 6 months but have not tracked them haha!

In any case, amazing stuff, y'all!! Reading is da bomb diggity!!!

I thank you all for comments. My family thinks I'm obsessed...maybe I am, but I just enjoy getting to know characters and falling into different lives. Even if it isn't real, it is my escape.
