Dalynn (dalynnrmc) What do YOU want to get accomplished in your reading for 2016? Create a thread with your name, and then tell us how many books you want to read. Or, go ahead and create a list of titles and/or authors. If you'd like to read a book for every letter of the alphabet, tell us that!

Then keep your post updated with what you've read, and we can all cheer one another along through the year. If anyone's post starts slipping to the bottom, we'll know whom to poke and spur into their own book lists! It'd be great to offer those falling behind a buddy read or the like, just to help keep us all motivated. :)

Your challenge can be whatever YOU want it to be. Feel free to ask in the Book Talk thread for ideas if you need help creating a personal challenge!

I have set a goal of reading 100 books for 2017. It is a big goal and I do include the books the kids and I read together for school. I would really love to accomplish 100 books this year.

Nicholette | 1 comments My goal was initially was to read 25 leisure book this year, but I think I like the idea of reading a book beginning with each letter of the alphabet. So that's my goal this year. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

Dalynn (dalynnrmc) Hi ladies! Go ahead and start a whole new thread with your name, and make the initial post one that you can continue to update with your progress. Then you can reply to it with what you thought about each book, or if you see a book on someone else's list that you'd also like to read you can comment on their thread to see if they want to buddy-up on it!

Nicholette - the alphabet is a great way to start! Another idea is to designate the types of books. If you'll look at my challenge, that's what I'm doing. I want to read a book each week and I've divided it up so that I read one each month of fiction, non-fiction, classic, and encouragement/improvement. :) There's tons of challenge groups out there to get your mojo working if you need it!
