She also says a 'dead' vampire AKA one who was turned into a vampire would pretty much be a corpse and wouldn't sleep, eat, or use the bathroom. They'd just drink blood, and all the usual vampire things kill them))

In the middle of the night, Maxine went to Eloise's room and found her alone, sitting next to her. "What?" She asked curiously.

"I was thinking earlier, and....I want you to be my blood sister. I want to be a lot closer than we are normally, and actually try to get along with each other," Maxine said quietly.

"Why now? You never once cared about our species before. Several times you said you wanted to be more like Whitlea's species because they were a lot cooler and had more fun," Eloise glared at her.

"Well....recent events made me think a lot about what kind of vampire I am, and when I really thought about it, I realized I was lonely. You're the only person who's just like me," She took her hands. "And I need someone to take care of me,"

Eloise finally sighed. "Fine.....I'm happy you finally came to your senses." The two hugged, then transformed into bats and flew out the open window to go hunting.


Once they returned, they hung upside down from the ceiling, grooming each other and sharing the blood they found earlier. Afterwards, they fell asleep together, snuggling. The image looked strange because there was only two bats instead of a huge group together.

Jason carried the sleeping bat that was Eloise back to her dorm. Their data had sort of been ruined by that stupid theater employee, but he was trying not to be mad about it.

He rubbed her back, but didn't say anything because he felt like he wasn't the person to talk to about this. While he was ashamed of what he'd done in the past, he wasn't ashamed of being a vampire because it wasn't something he could change. He felt like saying that would only make her feel worse.

She cried harder when he didn't say anything else to her, since she automatically assumed he agreed with the fact she was a monster. "What am I going to do....I'm still really thirsty, and I already drained that rat of all its blood earlier!! I'm a monster!"
