Eloise continued listening to the story, getting upset. But she wanted to make this work and didn't say anything, though her eyes flashed red.

"When I was a little older, we started getting assigned certain jobs which were a lot like what we did for fun," Jason said. "That...is when it started to feel wrong. We were forced to be destructive and watch as people cried over their maimed loved ones. I...it started to really hurt me and I realized that what we were doing was so wrong. And we were all just....puppets to her. Doing every awful thing she wanted. And she made it seem like our missions were optional, but I started to notice that when people 'opted out', they disappeared. That made it even more suspicious."
