Michael Lewis (mll1013) | 128 comments I'm not an Apple user, so I don't have iTunes. Is there a way to search for iBook titles on the web? Is there a way to directly link to a title online?

I've noticed activity on iBooks activity on my Smashwords account and would like to see if there's a reason for that? (i.e. reviews, ratings, etc.)

Janice Richardson | 13 comments Good question, my books are on ibooks too and I have to use iTunes, have yet to find another way. Be interesting to see if anyone has an answer.

J. Daniel Layfield (jdaniellayfield) | 8 comments Apple doesn't have a web based store front - it's all handled within iTunes. Even if you aren't an Apple user, you can still download iTunes for free on your PC and use it to search for books. That's really the easiest and most effective way.

The only other option I've found would be to do a limited Google search for the Apple iTunes site like so:

site:itunes.apple.com/us/book/ Michael L Lewis

However, the search didn't return any results for your book. I did find one of Janice's books by searching her name, but only one book. Here's the result: https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/wint...

Just use iTunes - it's much easier!

I really don't want to install such a pervasive application as iTunes, just to check on my books' ratings from time to time. My daughter uses iTunes, but it seems like it installs a bunch of crud that starts up automatically.

Since there's no way to search directly, maybe I'll just ask my daughter to take a look at it from time to time. :->
