"Yes!" Sadra fist pumped. "I was hoping you'd say that!"

He grinned just as the elevator opened.

Sadra hopped up and down and placed her hands on his shoulders as she did so.
"I can't wait, I can't wait!"

"Gosh, your sugar level must be high." he teased.

"I have no idea what that is," Sadra commented as she stopped hopping for a moment. "Now where is this amazing lab?"

"What? I'm sorry...you don't know what sugar is?" he asked, trying to act dramatically.

"Nope, like I said," Sadra explained. "I never heard of it."

"Ok. You have to try it." Deon announced. He dug his hand into his pocket and handed a candy to Sadra. "Try it."

Sadra eyes the candy thoughtfully then asked, "It won't kill me, will it? It's poisoned?"

He laughed. "No silly." he said.

Sadra eyed Deon for a while before smiling and popping the candy into her mouth. It was sweet and almost tasted like strawberries.
"Mmmm," she moaned. "This is really good."

He chuckled."Now you see what you have been missing." he said

Sadra only nodded as she enjoyed the candy. She swallowed it and smiled brightly. "It's definitely good I have a friend like you to help me."

He blushed and looked down.

"What?" Sadra asked him, staring at his face. "Surely i didn't say it like a bad thing? Did I?"

"Nope. Can we get on with this?"he said, before leaving her to wash his face.

Sadra nodded and smiled sadly. "Yes. Of course."

He glanced at her through the mirror then looked away. What was wrong with him? She didn't like him that way. But she did look sad...don't think about this! he told himself, going back to the lab.

Sadra smiled and took his hand. "So to the the most famous lab in all the Lost Cities, correct?"


((Awwwww, poor little Deon. *pats his head*))

"What?No." Deon exclaimed, trying to hide his grin. He felt hot and quickly let go of her hand.

Sadra frowned when his hand slipped from hers and blushed. "Okay, well I thought we were going to the lab, unless you had something else in mind."

((Seriously! If only he knew about Sadra. . . *sighs*))

"Yeah, well do you have any ideas?" he asked her, looking at her eyes. The color...

"Um, well," Sadra mumbled as she rubbed her neck, "considering I don't really know this place. . . what?" She asked, blushing as he seem to be staring at her.

He looked away. "Umm..so...."Deon mumbled. "Nothing." he said, a little too defensive. "We should set up a plan." he deciding, going to fetch paper.

"A plan?" Sadra asked, rummaging through her satchel for paper and pen. "For what?"

He came back with paper."For the gadget."he explained.

"Ahhh," Sadra said, finding a piece of paper and laid it on the floor. She uncapped the pen with her teeth and asked, "So are we creating a gadget that protrudes gas or liquid or anything other objects?"

"Good idea!" he said, setpting the paper down.

"Mmmm," Sadra moaned as she dug into her satchel for treats, never taking her eyes off the paper. "Okay. Should we draw the gadgets and show them to each other afterwards?"

"Yup!"he said,starting his sketch.

Ten minutes later, Sadra sighed as she scanned her drawing for a final time. It was shaped like a canister with handles at the end. If you pulled them outward, it would release any projectile or paint or gas.
"Alright. I'm done."

Deon was almost done. He had sketched any drafts, not happy with most of them. This time though, he loved it! It was a circular object that could turn into anything with pranks added on. "Almost done...wait a sec!" he said.

Sadra smiled as she peered over his shoulder. "Looks over at so far. Shoot. Now I think yours is better than mine."

((Haha! It's fine. And I have to go soon anyway. ^.^))

He peered at hers. "Yours is good too!" he added, pointing out the attributes.

((Drew wants to be a mod. He filled out Application and it is very detailed. What do you think?))

((I guess he could be a mod. . . I think we should wait until more people join (like 20) before we make him a mod but if you want to make him one, alright.)

"But mine only shoots out projectiles and gases," Sadra pouted, studying her drawing. "We could combine them."

((I don't know..maybe we should because we need more people to join. If he can get people to, we can put him on. How about we test him out as a mod first? Give him a month on))

"That is a great idea!" he said, starting a new sketch.

"Hmmm," Sadra said as she started to pace the room. "I have no idea how we could do it but may work."

((Yeah! That would work! :D))

Deon nodded and continued his drawing. A couple minutes later, he had finished. He showed Sadra.

"Woah," Sadra breathed, squinting her eyes. "That looks really good Deon." She looked up and asked, "So when should we build it?"

"Yup!" he nodded, going to get the materials.

"Now?" Sadra asked, digging through her satchel. "I hope we get done with this soon."

Deon held up the finished gadget and turned to Sadra. "It is perfect!" he cried.

Sadra wiped her brow and smiled weakly. "I'm just glad we don't have tests to study for, because," she slowly laid on the floor, "I and exhausted and put out."

"Me too." Deon said, sitting on the floor. "Whose locker should we put this in?" he said, holding it up.

"Ummmm," Sadra thought for a moment then smiled. "What about. . . no, that wouldn't work. I've got nothing. You?"

"Who is someone particularly annoying to me?" Deon asked himself out loud.

((Yes! I was thinking Freea Hoke but then maybe not. . . one of your characters?;) ))

"I have no idea because I really don't know," Sadra sighed. "The principal would be great but too many people have done that already."
