Michael Fattorosi | 477 comments My novel is now is a library book! One of my followers on Twitter came through and got me into his library. He's working on getting it state-wide. But he was kind enough to do it before Christmas so now its in the "system" so anyone can check it out! Anyone in the US can request and thorough inter-library loan they can get it shipped to their library! Thats pretty cool ! Im in a library!

Not sure if this is a big deal for most authors but it is for me!

Tara Woods Turner | 2063 comments Oh Michael! Congratulations, are you kidding me that is a big deal for any author!! This is so awesome and your book hasn't even been out six months :-) I give a lot of credit to your cover which is really professional looking!

Michael Fattorosi | 477 comments It has nothing to do with me and everything to do with my follower on Twitter, he's just a really good guy who went the extra-mile for me. In no way do I think I deserve this. But I sure am appreciative of it!

Quantum (quantumkatana) wow! congrats! i can tell my daughter that it's possible to get in a library with your first book. that's her dream. ^_^

i use interlibrary loan all the time and so do a number of goodreads members. btw, i've also seen where a library puts an ebook as an electronic resource and it would be available through interlibrary loan as well (although I could be mistaken).

Michael Fattorosi | 477 comments Nik - Glasgow Montana. Well if there is every a nuclear war and the world is wiped out Im fairly certain my book will live on there! Who would nuke Glasgow Montana! lol

Thank you everyone.

He's actually trying to do that for me as well. Im just not sure how it works or if he can do it.

And now I have one of my Canadian beta-readers trying to get her librarian friends to get into the library system in Canada.

Rita Chapman | 156 comments Well done Michael - yes, it's quite a thrill to see your book in the local library. In Australia there are a couple of ways to achieve this if your library hasn't picked it up through the usual sources. You can promote it with the people who choose books for the libraries (over here its PeterPal), you can donate a copy or you can ask a follower to request the library to stock it.
