So far the author and his safari guide compadres seem to be a bunch of over-sexed immature adults, lol. I'm surprised they lived to tell any tales!I loved the part about the honey badger. In case some of you have never seen the infamous viral honey badger video, here's a link (language not safe for work):

Finished! I thought some chapters were kind of boring, like the boat trip and the time he had to drive the new safari vehicle across country. The hairless baboon story practically made me cry, the poor fellow. I love elephants so the last chapters made the whole book for me. I liked the author despite his frat boy personality. I especially liked him when he confessed to being one of those people (bird watchers) LOL.
Just finished reading this book. I thought that the book was entertaining and informative in spots. I enjoyed picking up random animal facts from a young safari guide learning his craft. The elephant section was guide good.
Glad to see someone was reading this one too. Thanks for the comments on the book.
I'm still only half way. I've been trying to read another book that I need to finish.
