I feel a bit out of place, I've never been religious. But, my mom believes in Karma. What you put out in the world is what you receive. I disagree. Because of things like this. Nerdy, you're the last person who deserves this. Levelheaded, polite, and trustworthy. You'd be hard-pressed to find that in most of society.

Honestly, something that helped me a lot was The Tao of Pooh. It helped me figure out how to deal with everything in life. It's not a religion, just... Kinda a way of living. Taoism. Rolling with the punches. But that's just what works for me. You're probably different.

This is going to sound a bit ridiculous, and I know it's hard to learn, but trust yourself. Learn your limits. Know what you can and can't do is the first step. Mental trust in your gut will come with time. That's why I'm not easily fazed. I don't get myself into situations I can't handle, most of the time.
