5 years ago today, I had my very first ever real gymnastics class. Today was the day I became a gymnast <3

I was 9 (late bloomer) and in 5 years, I went from the lowest level to now doing Level 7/8

It seems long, but most of the girls at my gym, have been doing gymnastics since they were 2 and are JUST now making team

And I was self-taught. Really, my first "gym" was my backyard XD

My older sister taught me most of it, and the rest I learned on my own and by watching the other girls and Olympians, I learned

If it wasnt for my sister, Shawn Johnson, and Gabrielle Douglas, I wouldnt be a gymnast
