Ooo, I'm not getting any new books this Christmas that I know of, but I do have two series to finish so I might get a couple books of them done!
I just got one book I am reading right now and its 702 pages long so am working on Academ's Fury for my final read of 2016
I have two I'd like to finish so hopefully that happens Jodi picolut - Small great things
Jon Appleton - Ready for love
Yes, totally in for a read-a-thon. I'm so close to finishing some challenges. Need to read The Comet Seekers, The Fishermen, Gilead and finish that darn Middlemarch!
I am totally in for a readathon. I don't have the titles yet(will follow), but my goal is to finish some challenges for another group, and also this group. I also want to make some progress in Little Women, Framley Parsonage and major progress in Cien años de soledad.
Added: books on the go that need to be finished:
Maria Chapdelaine, From Heaven Lake: Travels Through Sinkiang and Tibet, The Compleet Molesworth.

I think I'm just going to try to read a round 80 books for the year so will try to finish 5 comfort reads.
I will finish Far From True and hopefully one other, to be named after I see which sounds good from MTBR.Finished Far From True. Now (12/26) I am starting Life's a Beach by Claire Cook.
I have 14 books in my "currently reading" pile. I'm not reading all 14 at the same time - I'm just weird in the the way I organize what I want to read next. Anyway - I'm hoping to read Talk Before Sleep, All Things Cease To Appear and When I'm Gone
I'm in! I'm a teacher and start my winter break today. I've already met my goal of books read for the year, but am stalled out on the Alphabet Soup challenge. I have 6 books I have left to read for that (J, K, Q, U, V, X). I know I'm definitely going to read Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking and Vinegar Hill, but am open to suggestions for the other letters. Hopefully I'll find books that are manageable in a short time frame!Happy reading!
I don't know how some of you read so many books! I'm a slow reader and was very pleased that I met my goal of 12 for the year. I'm hoping to add on Travels With Charley this month.
I won't be able to join you on this readathon, but I will be reading! I get to go away this year and will be without Internet access until the new year. I'll be bringing some books with me to finish up a few challenges. I'm looking forward to reading them on a beach with some warm sun and a cool drink - rather than the cold snow and a hot drink :)Have a wonderful break!
Being lucky enough to have some leave between Christmas and New Year I am planning to read Conclave by Robert Harris, Rogue Lawyer by John Grisham and Musicophilia by Oliver Sacks. Perfect mix of gripping thrillers and tackling a book that I have had sitting on my shelf for way to long!
Finally making some progress on Middlemarch and really enjoying it. This is one of those books with lots of characters so it helps to read in longer stretches so you can get into it.
I just finished one of my books today, so would that count? It was started ages ago but it has been in my schoolbag for months.
That is a good idea, I think I will read a lot these days. Thank you for this readathon !
Will continue with 1,000 Foods to Eat Before You Die: A Food Lover's Life List for the moment.

It counts if you finished it for the readathon!
It counts if you finished it for the readathon!
Okay, thank you!! I think I'm just gonna use this to finish up a couple of my straggling current reads that i want to get out the way to start up again in the new year :)
