Hello all, and welcome to the official Bone Season Series Readalong. This group is open to all, both interested new readers and longtime fans. Starting January 3, 2017, we will be reading The Bone Season, followed by The Mime Order, in preparation for the release of the third book in the series, The Song Rising, on March 7th.

The reading schedule is as follows:
1/9 – THE BONE SEASON reread begins; chapters 1-9
1/16 – TBS reread; chapters 10-19
1/23 – TBS reread; chapters 20-29
1/30 – THE MIME ORDER reread begins; chapters 1-9
2/6 – TMO reread; chapters 10-19
2/13 – TMO reread; chapters 20-27
2/28 – TMO reread ends
3/7 - THE SONG RISING is on sale!

For each week, we will have different threads for Newbies and Pros so each group can discuss what was read without risking unwanted spoilers. Of course, the more the merrier when it comes to readalongs, so invite your friends. We look forward to diving into the exciting and deadly world of Scion with you all!

Week Two of the readalong is underway! I've opened up Newbie and Pro threads in the appropriate folder. Now that we're in the nitty-gritty, there are different sections to talk about world-building and plot and the structure of the story versus the characters and their relationships. Loosen up those typing fingers and dig on in!

Heads up for everyone that the spiffy new paperbacks are now out in all territories, so be sure to grab your copies this weekend! (As an additional heads up, The Bone Season paperback includes the story of how Paige became Jaxon's mollisher in the novella The Pale Dreamer.)
