Critique my cover and blurb, and spot errors in sample

Hey, I had a new cover made and help with writing a new blurb for my book. I'd be happy to get constructive criticism on both, and for some time from you to read the book sample for any errors. My mind is blind to it and I'm in the process of obtaining an editor for the manuscript. I just would like a look at the sample for a clean peek at the novel.

The colored spheres on your new cover are eye-catching and they pop against the gray background (especially the red).

I took a look at your book sample on Amazon. I saw inconsistencies in tense usage and some punctuation issues that need to be addressed.
