☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Heya. Would you mind posting the plot info here to look back on?

message 3: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Alright, let's talk characters. Do you prefer the princess or the rebel?

message 4: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments In the kingdom of Aurelia lies a circle of wealth and liveliness. All the economic boom, parties, and overall prosperity of the kingdom lies within this perfect circle, a 50 mile radius of the extravagant kingdom that resides within the middle. This is the city of Kyom. Life is perfect for everyone who lives within Kyom. They are careless and selfish about anything and everything. Within the castle there lives a king, his lovely queen and his drop dead gorgeous daughter. The princess has been pampered with dresses worth a couple thousand dollars, maids aiding her with every move, and given everything she ever asked for. To her life was perfect and wonderful.

On the outskirts of the perfect circle, behind the 20 foot wall that surrounded the inner city is a world of crime and poverty. Where everything is pure as white in Kyom and outside of it everything is covered in a dense layer grime. Due to the crime and poverty, rebellion is starting to rise and one group in particular has the ultimate plan to capture their "king's attention".

The Unseen is a group of rebel who hide out on the very outskirts of the kingdom. They like to think of themselves as the Robin Hoods of Aurelia. And their plan is to steal more than gold. Their leader develops and operation to steal the princess and hold her for ransom until they get exactly what they want. This plan of course is a success with The Unseen's team of elites who easily out smart the king's troops. Will stealing the princess work in their favor or will something bigger than even they expected occur? Will a civil war finally be waged between to the king and poor? Will the princess side with her blood or with her heart?

Requirements:
- Be Active! (Reply back 5 out of the 7 days)
- If you are super busy just tell me how many days you need and if you ever have time reply back.
- Be literate! I don't want to make an elaborate rp and you can barely use proper grammar.
- Post a paragraph every time (3-4 sentences).
- Be detailed! Describe your character's feelings, their clothes, their facial features, etc. Paint me a picture!  :)
- I don't care who plays who so just pick either of the two but we will introduce more character as the rp goes on.
- PG-13 RP

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Thanks.

I'd prefer the princess, if that's alright by you?

message 6: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments That's fine by me. Let's post short bios of our characters and then my idea was that we start the story off on the night the rebel steals the princess. That sound good?

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments That sounds fine. What do you want in the bios? Or you could just post yours first and then I'll do mine.

Oh, and since this is more like a fantasy story, what kind of era do you think the clothes and whatnot are from?

message 8: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Yeah I'll post mine and as for clothes, I would say that the princess would have more traditional outfits like large lace like dresses. Everyone in the inner city would wear nice dresses, suits, other expensive clothing. Everyone outside the circle would have modern clothes like t-shirts, cargo pants, etc. Think about it as everything inside the circle is like paradise, a dream, and everything outside is reality.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Oh okay, got it.

Unamo | 382 comments Name: Malakai Suci
Nickname: Boss or Kai
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Affiliation: The Unseen
Personality: Daring, Cunning,  Charming, Rebellious, and Strict.
Appearance:

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Name: Briella Grace Herondale
Age: 18
Affiliation: Kingdom of Aurelia
Personality: Briella likes to think herself not stuck-up, but with all the pampering she's gotten throughout her life, she really is. She still tries to be kind to those beneath her, but she always stays as far away from them as she can. When with those on her same social level, she is bubbly and friendly, never without a graceful smile.

Unamo | 382 comments (I'll go first to set the scene.)

"Look, Boss. What if this isn't the night? I know we've been analyzing the castle's routine for almost two years, but if it doesn't work-" Damien, who Malakai claimed as his second-in-command, spoke quietly as they moved to climb down the wall. "It'll work. Don't be so down and if we get caught, the group knows what to do and how to live. Besides, the worst thing that could happen is we get caught, tried for conspiring against the government, and being but to death." The wind was blowing and it was pitch black so they'd easily be able to move through the night. Kai had trained for this for almost two years. Tonight was the night they steal the princess.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Briella hadn't wanted to sleep that night, she was still too awake. So she sat out on the terrace in her nightgown, watching the stars. Her servants had all been dismissed and she was at peace. Why shouldn't she be? Nothing could possibly go wrong, nothing ever went wrong. Still, she knew that she would need to sleep soon. Enjoying the chilled night air was just what she needed, she believed, to make her feel sleepy. Sitting back in the chair that was set on her terrace, she closed her eyes, considering just falling asleep out there. Of course, such a thing was unladylike, but she was comfortable and feared that if she were to move, she'd be awake again. Relaxing there, she suspected nothing, anticipated nothing.

message 14: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Damien and Malakai stood in the royal gardens with binoculars. "Got her, Boss. She's not asleep yet. What do we do? Wait?" Kai stared at the balcony from a far and smirked. "I got this Damien. You go ahead and make sure no one comes, but I'm going to get our princess. That'll show the king that we are tierd of being thrown in the dust. I'll be back and you better be ready to run!" With that he took off in his black clothing which helped him blend in with the night. Now any civilized man would go through that castle and sneak in that way, but Malakai liked to make things complicated so he decided to climb the wall. He moved with more fluidity than expected from a male his height and bone structure. Easily he jumped from balcony to balcony until he was just below hers. Now...how to get her to go into her room and turn her back? Malakai looked around then saw a piece of cement breaking from the castle. The man pulled it out and aimed it inside her room. Taking a deep breath to steady his arm, Kai threw the piece of rubble and listened for it to ping against something. Lucky for him it hit against something like glass. This was the perfew diversion for him to flip onto the balcony.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Briella opened her eyes, looking for the source of the noise. Perhaps there was a mouse? She got up from her seat to see what it might be. It had come from over by her windows, so she went over there, moving the curtains to find whatever it was. She didn't see anything though, at least, nothing but a small rock. Of course, she thought nothing much of the rock and just sighed, figuring she might as well go to her bed now. So instead of turning to go back to her seat, she kept her back away from the outside and walked to her door.

message 16: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Kai took a chance and jumped for the princess's balcony. Just barely, his hand caught the edge and using his momentum, his toes pushed off the edge of the balcony and kicked over his body onto the other side of the fenced edge. The rebel stared at the princess's back and pulled out a cloth with a potent scent. They had a long drive back home and they'd have to climb back over the wall, last thing Malakai needed was a kicking princess to make him lose his balance while climbing the wall. Quickly he stepped up behind the princess, pushed the cloth up to her nose and mouth, preventing her from screaming. Malakai's other arm kept her arms at her side. "Sleep for now. I promise you won't be hurt." Malakai spoke in a deep and serious voice. Their group had no intention to harm the royal just use her as leverage.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments When she was grabbed, Briella's first reaction was to scream, and she tried, but with the cloth over her mouth and nose, it made no sound. Because of her attempt at screaming, she inhaled the chemical on the cloth and it worked even faster. His words were the last things she heard before she completely blacked out and went limp, as if sleeping.

Unamo | 382 comments (I'll skip to when they get back to their base that way you don't have to make up dreams for her. Do you want to also play Kai's third in command? Id imagine her as like the badass type.)

The trip didn't take as long as Malakai had thought. Damien ended up stealing a car which they drove out of the inner city and took it to a halfway point then walked the rest. Now Malakai was setting the princess down in one of their cells at headquarters. It wasn't a terrible cell. It had a clean bed, a table and and chair, even a little tiny room that led to a bathroom in the back. "The news is already out Boss about the princess being gone." The rebel stared at the princess who should be waking anytime. "That's good. Hopefully he got our note and he pays the ransom. We need the money for the families around here." He stared at the princess. She was a pretty thing but anyone would have looks of they were pampered. Kai rolled his eyes then left the room. He'd get her food and water for when she woke.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments ((Alright good. I can do that too, yeah. Female badass, got it. So when do you want her to show up? Just so I know, before I proceed. And, do you want Briella to wake right away?))

message 20: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments (It doesn't matter to me. Malakai can speak with her and then Briella wakes up and the two of them go down there. Whatever you put I'll just improvise off of that. XD)

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments ((Alright, fine by me :) ))

Cahira saw him when he came out and approached him. "You got the princess, I'm assuming. You wouldn't have come back without her, I shouldn't think." She had been working with him long enough to figure out what he would do, but sometimes he surprised her. Otherwise, none of this would be exciting. "Encounter any troubles on the way?"

message 22: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Kai closed that door to the cell only to run into Cahira. "Of course I got her. I wouldn't have come back without her. We are trying to make the king give in and hand over enough money to give people outside of the city of Kyom a better life and a surviving chance." He said calmly as he walked with her down a hallway. Their base was underground and consisted of 7 rooms. They had a kitchen, meeting/living room, cells, 3 sets of dorm rooms where up to four people stayed and his little office. About 12 people worked for the Unseen. "The only trouble was Damien being a baby about the mission and the princess wasn't going on her usual sleep schedule. Honestly we could have waited for her to sleep, but I didn't want to be traveling during the day and I'm not patient. You should know that though." He chuckled and walked with Cahira to the kitchen. "Do you have a spare outfit for the princess? She'll probably not do so great in her night gown. I stole a few of her more modern clothes but there weren't many." He leaned against the counter and waited for the girl to respond.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Cahira walked with him, looking over everything as they passed it. She shook her head with a laugh as he explained the mission. "Of course he was. Can't do anything without whining." She smiled, knowing he couldn't be patient unless his life depended on it. She leaned up against the counter in the kitchen, thinking about his question. "Yeah, I should have something, though I'm not sure how it'll fit on her. She can't be that much different in size, can she?" She ran her fingers through the ends of her hair, asking a legitimate question. He'd carried her, so she expected he would probably know the answer.

message 24: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments "She's got more meat on her bones, but that's due to the fact that she gets to eat three meals a day every day. Where as we get one and on special occasions two." He said then turned to search the cupboards for food. Guess oatmeal and water would have to do for the princess this fine morning. "I have a feeling when I go back down there, she'll just be yelling and yelling." Kai rubbed his forehead as the oatmeal heated up. The leader looked at Cahire when Damien walked in. "Hey girl. Your hero is back safe and sound." The second flirted leaning against the counter next to her. Of course Malakai just rolled his eyes. The big baby known as Damien was always trying to catch Cahira's attention.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Cahira shook her head, an evil part of her wanting to see the girl deal with it. She didn't want to hurt the princess, of course, but that bitterness Cahira had said she wanted the princess to taste what their lives were like. After all that she'd been through up until when she joined the Unseen, she thought it only proper for the princess to at least know how it felt.
When Damien came in, she quietly groaned. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes when he spoke. "Oh really? Where is he? I'd love to meet him," she said, teasing him. In actuality, she rather enjoyed the attention from him, just because it was amusing. His attempts at flirting were funny enough to make her laugh, though she realized that wasn't his intentions.

message 26: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments "Wow! That was hurtful. How about a kiss to mend my broken heart?" Malakai pulled the oatmeal out of the microwave and placed a spoon, water, and added cinnamon to the top. "Damien, give up Cahira is to mature for you. I mean you were practically cowering on our mission-" Damien smacked Kai's shoulder making some of the oatmeal spill over the bowl. "That didn't happen!" The man chuckled at his friend them walked downstairs towards the princess's cell.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Cahira laughed and shook her head, following Kai down to see the princess. She was curious to see what she looked like because pictures don't always do justice.

In her new cell, Briella began to wake. It took a moment to register what had happened and how she had ended up somewhere not her palace. She quickly sat up and looked around, completely freaking out. Where was she? Who had kidnapped her? Were they going to kill her despite what that man had said? What did they want? A thousand questions fluttered her her head without yet any answers.

message 28: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Kai walked to the cell's only to be surprised by more than an awakened princess. "Lookie! Mala! The Pwincess Bwiella is awake!" The voice of a little girl chirped out as her hands wrapped around the bars. The little girl had curly black locks, piercing emerald eyes, and a round smooshie baby face. She could only be around 5. Kai's facial features turned to a deep frown. They kept criminals down here and for his little sister to come down so easily. "Noel! I told you not to come down here! Go stand by Cahira right now!" The growl in his deep voice made the child run over and hug Cahira's legs. Kai sighed and stood in front of the princess's cell. "You're awake. I brought you breakfast."

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Cahira gently patted the little girl's head. She understood Kai's reaction, but she did still think it too rough. The Noel didn't know better, she was still a child.
Briella looked up at him, recognizing his voice. "You're the one that kidnapped me," she said, trying not to be spiteful in her tone. "What do you want? In case you didn't know, I don't keep gold in my nightgown." Why was she in a cell? What kind of criminals had cells anyway. She was terrified but did her best not to show it.

message 30: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments They kept criminals such as people who steal from the poor. They weren't heinous crimes, but they were wrong. "I am, but I promise we aren't bad people. Besides it's not your money we want, but your father's. Welcome to the outside of Kyom. Where everyone is covered in a grime of dirt and goes hungry on a daily basis." He opened the cell and handed the tray to her. Honestly, they didn't have to keep her in there. No way she could make her way back to castle on her own. First though, he'd like her settle down before giving her a room to stay in. "Go ahead and eat. Don't be worried. We aren't aggressive people."

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Briella frowned at his words and took the tray of food anyway. "You kidnapped me," she said, her annoyed tone shining through. "You expect me to believe you're not aggressive?!" True, they hadn't hurt her and he didn't seem to be worried when he opened the door to her cell....and he had brought her food....and the little girl.....but still! None of that meant anything! They could still be horribly violent people.

message 32: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Malakai raised an eyebrow and then leaned over. "You're lucky that I got to you first. There are groups out there that are plotting your death. So consider it me saving your life." The leader closed the cell and turned his back. "Do you even know what it looks like outside the castle? Outside Kyom?" He stared down at Noel who looked up at him and then Cahira. They all knew starvation, abuse, and neglect. They had scars and hunger pains still to prove it. She didn't know though. Kai had a feeling Briella may be on their side if she knew the reality of their issues and troubles.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments "Of course not. I've never left the castle, much less Kyom," Briella replied. what could there be? She wouldn't guess much. In her studies, they never covered anything outside of Kyom, except a small bit of history. It was never much and she didn't remember most of it anyway. She felt like there was something he was hinting at. Why did he kidnap her? And wait- there were people who wanted to kill her?! Why?! She'd never done anything wrong! She was a good princess! At least she thought she was. But now, it's all revealed to her that people want to kidnap and kill her, but for what?

message 34: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Malakai nodded at the princess. She had said exactly what he expected. Yet by the tone of her voice, she couldn't see why it mattered. "You'll see soon enough, Princess Briella. You'll see why your parents have only shown you Kyom. They don't want you to know the real world." With that the leader left. However, Noel stayed down with Cahira. She gave a quick glance up the stairs and ran over to the princess. "I have an apple to go with youw oatmeal." The child pulled out the apple, letting her arm show. Against her pale skin was a disfigured mark, a little more red in color. A scar. It was long and thick meaning it was deep. The little girls emerald eyes were filled with wonder and her curls bounced as she did. Noel's dress was a little tattered on the bottom but overall in decent shape. "I'm Noel Suci. That was my bwothew Malakai. And this is Cahiwa. It's a pleasuwe to make youq aqua....what's that wowd...." Noel shrugged since she couldn't remember. She was just excited to meet a princess.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Briella frowned, not liking the idea of not knowing more. What could be so awful that her parents would have hid it from her? She sat there for a moment, deep in thought until the little girl ran over. The princess smiled when the girl offered her the apple and introduced herself, but when she saw Noel's scar, her smile turned confused. "Acquaintance," she told the girl, gently smiling. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance as well, Miss Noel. I'm Princess Briella Grace Herondale." She couldn't get her mind off of that scar, though she had finally been able to tear her eyes away. Where had it come from? Who would have hurt such a sweet and adorable child. Noel couldn't be that old, so when had she gotten a scar that large? Briella took the apple, smiling. "Thank you for this. It's very kind of you."

message 36: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Noel was proud that the princess was so grateful. She had heard so much out about Briella and really wanted to meet her. Noel wanted to be a princess someday. All the dresses and jewelry. Most of all she wanted a pony. Mala had told her that maybe someday, but he didn't sound very sure. "Don't wowwy Pwincess Bwiella. Mala won't keep you in hewe fow long. He's very nice." Noel face squeezed between the bars. Obviously she didn't understand that Malakai had kidnapped the princess against her will. She thought the princess was a new member under review. "Awen't you excited to live hewe with us?"

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Briella got up and gently touched Noel's face to push her back a little. She didn't want the little girl to get stuck. She smiled softly so that Noel didn't think she was being mean. "I'm not excited, no. You see, I'm homesick already. I want to go back to my Papa and Momma." She hoped that the girl would at least understand that. "I'm sure he's very nice, but he took me away from the people who love and care about me without even asking. I don't think that's very nice, do you?"

message 38: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Noel looked at Briella and heard her words. "Well no..." She said quietly. Thinking poorly of her brother for a mere second then gained another idea. "What if he need youw help? Mala says youw a 'lady with powew'...whatevew that means. " Noel giggled and squatted on the ground. Sure Malakai was a little harsh at times and didn't like people, but he had odd ways of asking for help. Noel looked toward Cahira, "We need help wight?" She was a smart little girl to catch on that they needed help stopping a war. Noel wasn't allowed to sit on the meeting but she heard the little bits of info here and there.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Cahira looked at Noel, impressed. The girl always surprised her, she couldn't deny it. "You're right," she said to her softly. She looked at the princess. "Kai brought you here for a reason, not just to kidnap you for the heck of it. You'll find out soon enough."
Briella chewed on her lip, not understanding what it could be for. But in some strange way, she did trust these people not to hurt her. When she saw that guy again though, she would demand answers. She refused to sit without knowing anything. She took a deep breath and looked down at Noel again with a smile. "Enough about that for now. How old are you, Ms. Noel?" she asked politely, thinking that a little girl shouldn't have to discuss any sort of politics.

message 40: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Noel sat down with her legs stretching out in front of her. They were dirty. She hadn't had a bath in a while since the weather hadn't caused any rain for their rain barrels. "I'm five but in a yeaw I'll be six." She held up five then six fingers. On Noel's last birthday, Malakai had gotten her ingredients to make cookies. It was really fun to make them with everyone and then eat them. "How old awe you Pwincess Bwiella" Noel brushed a hand over her dark curls causing her hand to get caught a little.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments "Oh wow, you're a good age," Briella smiled. "I'm eighteen years old. I don't have enough fingers to show you." She examined the little girl, keeping a smile on her face but she was sad. This poor, sweet girl was dirty and obviously had been hurt. What had happened to get her to this state? How could anyone be so cruel to hurt her, and how could her situation be so bad that she hadn't gotten a bath, or even her hair brushed? Briella longed to run her favorite brush through the girl's dark locks, give the poor baby a nice bubble bath so that her skin would shine.

message 42: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Was the princess catching onto subtle hints of their lifestyle by looking at the little girl? Noel tried counting to eighteen but couldn't get past ten. "Wow...eighteen. Is that close to eight? Sounds like it." Noel tries to count again and puts eighteen right after eight. That made more sense. The child looked at the princess's food and motioned toward it, "May I have-" Suddenly Mala came back down and noticed his sister's greedy little hand going to take some oatmeal from the princess. "Noel." His voice held a certain softness when speaking to her. "Don't eat the princess's food. Your leftovers from breakfast are upstairs." The child pulled her hand back and felt herself getting picked up. "You have biscuits left from a few days ago. They are probably stale but you need to eat them before they grow moldy. You're lucky I kept Damien from eating them." The girl nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck in a hug. "Mala, this is Pwincess Bwiella and she's going to help us. And she eighteen which means she's close to eight." Noel explained her new incorrect way of learning.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Briella laughed softly at what Noel said, but she was stuck on what Malakai had said instead. Her food was from a few days ago? That made the princess's heart ache. She wanted to give the girl her food, she wasn't that hungry anyway. The thoughts were making her tear up a little and she dabbed at her left eye, but she didn't really understand what was going on. Did people really have to eat that way? Starve and live dirty, eat old food on the verge of growing mold? If it weren't for Noel, she would think it all a scam. But surely no one could train a little girl so well to tug on every string in Briella's heart. No, children that age spoke the truth, and Briella had no doubt that the conditions here were that bad. "You know, I'm really not hungry. She may have my food," Briella said politely. She didn't want to sound ungrateful, and though she was hungry, she thought it better the girl had it instead of her.

message 44: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Noel smiled widely and looked at Malakai to be put down. He did and the child went to work on the breakfast. "Alright. Alright. Try to go slow Noel. Your tummy will hurt if you eat too fast." He looked at the princess and let a thankful gaze appear on his face for a split second then disappear. "We have a bed available in the girl's dorm if you'd like to stay there?" The leader open the cell and held out a hand to help her walk out. "Cahira, here, will get you a chain of clothes. There is an room to change but the outhouse is obviously outside. Sorry if it is not what you are use to." They didn't have enough resources to have running water, but they would all me going to the creek to collect water if it didn't start storming. Noel ended up standing and hugging the princess. She didn't even finish the oatmeal. Only the apple and the quarter of oatmeal. "Yeah! You get to sleep with us in the giwl's woom! Mala's not allowed in thewe." The child stuck her tongue out at him making him stick it back out at her.

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Briella took his hand and considered the offer as she stepped out of the cell. A girl's dorm would probably be better than a jail cell, but either way there was no avoiding an outhouse. "Alright, I'll stay there...." she said carefully. "And thank you, I was about to ask about my clothing. She was still in her nightgown, and it wasn't exactly proper. How had she become so accepting of these arrangements so quickly? Perhaps because she knew that her father would.....no. She had a feeling it was because of Noel. Briella wanted to know what was going on here, and if that meant sacrificing her luxuries, so be it. She smiled when Noel hugged her, it made her happy to see that the girl was excited to be around her, and though Briella saw Noel hadn't eaten much, she was sure it was still more than she'd eaten in a long time. When she observed Noel and Malakai, she couldn't help but laugh softly. It was cute to see, and Briella realized that he wasn't as stern as she initially thought.

message 46: by Unamo (new)

Unamo | 382 comments Malakai was surprised by how well she was taking it all. He had a feeling it was due to Noel being with them. The little girl added a sense of safety to the air. A sense of safety that no other radical group conspiring again the king had. The male was surprised how soft the princess's hand was. Then again, being pampered in the palace it was probably expected that she would have such soft hands. Maps poked the child's nose and she ran away from him to hide behind Cahira. "Right this way Briella." He led her up the stairs to the girls dorm and then pointed at the made bed. "That'll be yours."

☣ EMᕈRESS SERΔ ☣ (empress-sera) | 29904 comments Briella followed him, worried to see what she would find. Nothing in this place was impressive....more depressing. Such awful living arrangements, nothing compared to her home. When he showed her the bed, her first thought was Why is it so small?, followed closely by Who can sleep on such a thing without falling off? The princess tossed and turned a lot in her sleep, and so she was worried that would happen on this bed. Not to mention that it didn't look very soft at all. In fact, it seemed rather....flat. Resisting the urge to make a face, or moan and cry at her new living arrangements, she took a deep breath and blinked to calm herself. "Thank you," she said quietly, unable to get her voice any louder. She was second guessing her decision so much, but knew there was no going back now. Refusing to stay here would do nothing.

I'm sorry but people's lives are on the line so this has to happen." He stated very calmly to her. She would understand it all soon enough. Especially if Noel spilled the beans like he knew that she would. Malakai tried to hide things from her, but somehow the child figured it out. Speaking of the child, Noel ran to a bed that sat next to Briella's. "Look Bwiella! We awe bed buddies! My bed is next to youw bed!" The little girl started to jump on hers which earned her a look from her brother. The child stopped and sat then bounced that way.

She didn't understand what was going on, who's lives were at stake, what they wanted from her father, but it didn't matter. When Noel began to jump on a bed and declared she and Briella as bed buddies, the princess couldn't help but smile. But when she smiled, the tears leaked from her eyes. As long as she was still smiling, she wouldn't try to stop, but this all made her sad. She turned to Malakai. "I want answers," she said. "Tell me what's going on, I deserve to know."

"I will give you answers...in good time. Tomorrow I will start explaining but for now you should relax." He turned to Cahira, motioned for her to give Bri clothes then left for his office. Of course Noel was the first to speak. She waited until Cahira was out of hearing range before she spoke. "I can help you. Evewyone hewe is pawt of a gwoup called the Unseen. We help poow people outside of the house. Mala calls us vewy lucky to have food, a house, and watew. I agwee with him. It's bad and no one is helping but othew poow people. That's why we need you." She stated then looked around maybe she could show her without Malakai knowing.
