Pink | 5491 comments Hi Fred, this post might help https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Our group has many folders, each with different discussions for group reads, challenges, or general book conversations. You can browse through each of these discussions and add your own comments in the box at the bottom.

Is there something in particular you were looking for?

Fred | 31 comments I read a lot of Christie, I don't know if she counts as a classic author but I completely adore her books. I've got loads of different genres on my TBR at the moment so I'm going to dedicate January to classics, including Christie and then catch up with the rest of my TBR in February.

Fred | 31 comments Okay thanks a lot! Will the new book updates be in the email newsletter or will we have to look for them on a specific board?

Melanti | 1894 comments Welcome to the group, Fred.

We read one And Then There Were None a couple of months ago.

As far as updates go - the best place to read the ongoing discussions are on the relevant discussion threads. At the beginning of each month, the winning books for the next month are announced in the nominations thread - so you can either check there, in the polls themselves, or wait for the announcement in the middle of the month.

Fred | 31 comments Okay thank you so much!!! I'm planning on reading The Pearl in January as wasn't that a January one?

message 7: by Melanti (new)

Melanti | 1894 comments Yes, we'll be reading The Pearl in January.

On the first, we'll start a thread for it in the Monthly Short Story Classics folder.

Fred | 31 comments Okay thank you xx

Pink | 5491 comments Group email was sent out today, so that should include all the info about group reads. You can also find it here in the announcements thread https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... if you want to double check when we're reading each book.

If you have any other questions, just ask. It takes a while to get used to new groups, but we're very active here, so there's usually someone who can help you out :)

Fred | 31 comments I have just started reading Halloween Party by Agatha Christie. I'm planning on finishing it in the next couple of days. Please look out for my review! Xx

Fred | 31 comments I have written a review of Halloween Party! You can find it on my Updates board...a little disappointing to be honest.

I love Agatha Christie, but have not read this one yet. It's on my shelf, and I was going to start it, but went for a few Christmas books instead. Sorry you didn't like it. I'm hoping I'll get to it soon.
