what do you think about Dystopian: The Empties by Jess Row ? As i'm fond of reading Non-Fiction, would it be a good choice for me to go for it?

I'm not really sure if you'd like it if you read only non-fiction. Without revealing any spoilers, the short story is about a woman trying to survive "after" the end of the world, in a total electrical blackout.
You can read it for free here:

the story line sounds interesting, i would read it coz i was thinking of reading some fiction lately and despite being a fiction it would be like a virtual non-fiction to me. Thanks for your time .."

Congratulations Rashmi!! Interesting choices, I've read a few from that list. Which one was your favorite?
The Pines is on my 'to-read' list, I heard great things about that book from someone close. I'm actually reading Leviathan Wakes, and I really like the diversity: the characters have such distinct and original personalities. The plot seems rich, intense and keeps you on the edge.
