Hello this is a book I read somewhere between 2007-2010 about kids who have magic powers under the age of 18(ish). Their is (either machines or aliens or something) that have different types (one type of machine/alien screams really loud I think, others track them and stuff) and this one boy joins a group of other who are resisting, and they are lead by an adult(who is a robot I think) name Snake(not 100% sure this was right, the name snake was somewhere in this book, maybe in the title?) Something happens to them when they turn 18 where they fade away from the earth. The book involves them escaping and fighting back etc. I read this awhile ago so I don't really remember most of the plot except the end so message me if that might be helpful. Post apocalyptic future genre. Also I distinctly remember the young male lead (I think he is 12) likes a girl around his age. (Haha)
