Is this an offline or online workshop? I, personally, plan to pitch to readers/reviewers. I will send a SparkPage around containing the cover, blurb and a couple of funny/sexy passages.

Online, I didn't consider offline although I suppose it works for that too if you know enough people or have a blooming book community.
Ooh like a book event you mean? Like on Facebook? I've been to a few.. they weren't that entertaining and I usually left pretty quickly.. But that's just me..



Has anyone ever created a book workshop for their books? Is it a good practice? I did one for Opium Warfare last year but it failed miserably as I didn't go about promoting it as well as I could have. I'm still open to doing one as it seems interesting but I need some info and examples of success with it.
