Selene wandered into the Atrium, looking around. She was humming a light tune to herself as she fiddled with the sleeves of her black cardi. She was wearing a loose, kind of frilly, though not excessively frilly creamy white shirt under the cardi and a knee length black skirt. Since she was tall, at around 5'9", it didn't seem overly long on her. Looking around at the school, she realised, so this is my new home now...the same school my mother attended and madee her infamous mark on it.
Alodia was sitting at a bench in the Atrium. She ran her hands over the slight swell of her stomach nervously, thinking of the child now growing within. She lifted her head to look around the Atrium, as if expecting Gabriel to pop up and take her away again. She trembled at the thought, still covered in bandages from what he did to her. He had beaten her so bad, that not even her regeneration abilities could work to heal what he did to her, or rather it had yet to be released from his spell/

((If its a guy, and he tries to meet Alodia, she's liable to run away, she can't handle males anymore just sayin. Males is on her list of her biggest fears))
Selene turned a corner in the atrium, walking along the mini river that had been built into the room. She was so surprised to see how much effort had been placed its creation. The Queens had outdone themselves in making this school a grand place for its students. Even the dormitories were overlooking this amazing atrium. She spotted a girl sitting on the bench in front of her and said brightly, and lightly, "hi there!"
Alodia squeaked in surprise, having been lost in her own thoughts, she hadn't seen Selene approach her. She jumped at least a foot in the air if not more as she squeaked, staring wide-eyed up at Selene and not responding.
Selene reached forward, as though to steady the Fox Demon, not that the girl needed her help. "Oh my, I'm so sorry...I didn't mean to startle you..." Said Selene gently.
Alodia stared nervously at Selene, but after a few moments she allowed herself to relax. "I-its okay...." she stammered out softly. "U-um......M-my name i-is....Alodia..." she said softly, wondering if what happened to her had ended up newspapers or tv or anything. It made her more hesitant to give her name.
"Oh, what a pretty name!" Said Selene, smiling gently and looking around her, each of her movements were graceful. Though if she ever got mad...she loses her gracefulness. Looking back Alodia, she said, "my name is Selene, nice to meet you. I just arrived at the school." She held out her hand and hoped that her angelic presence wouldn't startle the demon.
Alodia bit her lip, then slowly reached out to shake Selene's hand. "I-i'm new here too...." she said softly, retreating moments later to pick at one of her many, many bandages that covered most, if not all, of her body.
"The bandages..." Selene asked, her voice light, somewhat filled with sorrow at the sight of her bandages. She wondered what had happened for the girl to be wrapped up to that extent. Selene knelt in front of Alodia, not caring if the stone bit into her knees and held out her hands. The sleeves of her cardi slipped down to her elbows, revealing a pair of arms covered in glowing light runes. "Can I see your hands?" She asked.
Alodia hesitated, seeing the glowing runes made her nervous. But.....this girl seemed really nice...she had never had a reason to distrust females before.....Alodia bit her lip and offered her hands, which trembled slightly as if, despite her nice demeanor, she was worried about Selene hurting her, which just hinted at how badly she had been abused.
Selene held Alodia's hands lightly. Looking up at her, Selene said softly, "I don't know what you've been through, but I can see...that your life...has been more than painful...the runes on my arms are healing runes, it is one of my powers. If you would like...I can help speed up your healing process...but...it may hurt." To say that Selene wasn't stunned by the extent of the amount of bandages over Alodia's was an understatement, plus the way she had tembled when she'd held her hands out for Alodia to take...Selene coudn't even guess just what had possibly happened to this girl. Selene had her own memories, and though some of the things she had to do before she had been given a second chance at life by Amaterasu, were not pleasant. So Selene could presume that these were definitely not self-afflicted.
Alodia bit her lip, her whole body starting to tremble after Selene spoke. "I-if my powers.....weren't sealed......then I could be healed....." she said softly, her voice shaking. "I-i'm worried......about using magic.....I've heard th-that magic is bad for...." she hesitated, worried about the questions that might arise, but she had no choice. "I've heard that magic is bad for one who is.....expecting...." she finished finally. The whole time she spoke, her voice had been soft and just barely above a whisper.
Selene blinked, then whispered a soft, "oh...so that's why..." She squeezed Alodia's hands lightly hoping to assure the girl that she didn't need to be afraid of Selene. Alodia's trembling wrenched Selene's heart. She couldn't, didn't know how she could help Alodia in a way that wouldn't hurt her more. Looking up at her, Selene smiled kindly, and said, "my angelic runes are a little different from usual healing magic, however if you feel that they would harm the babe inside of you, then I will not use them on you, I just feel slightly useless being unable to help you even though I should be able to. Can I ask...how far along are you?" It was a hesitant question.
Alodia bit her lip. "I-i'm a month or so along...." she replied softly, trying to stop her trembling. She got the feeling that this girl really wouldn't do anything to hurt her. Maybe it was because she was an angel.... "If you knew a spell that would remove a power sealing enchantment.....that would be helpful.....normally, I heal on my own.....with my regeneration ability....." she said softly.
Selene frowned, "I do...I know a runic one, although..." why do you have a sealing enchantment on you? She wondered. Selene thought of several possibilities, and even entertained the thought of asking Alodia, however, judging from the girl's fragile state, Selene did not want to ask just yet. She didn't want to overwhelm the girl by asking a bunch of nosy questions. That's not what her mother taught her to do when it came to being Queen. Ah, Selene had learnt it all, but had never got the chance to go back to Egypt to use it. Smiling gently, she said, "would you like me to break the power sealing enchantment on you?"
Alodia bit her lip and nodded. "I would appreciate it very much if you could do that for me...." she said softly. "I could heal a lot faster, and not worry about my injuries affecting the child....." she stared down at her stomach, as if she could see the child forming within her. Though her child came through violent and traumatic means, she couldn't blame the innocent life within her for it......she could only hope that they did not look like their father.
Selene nodded, "do not be afraid of what will happens, I am merely casting my runes," she said softly as the glowing light runes slipped off her arms and spread over Alodia. They were runes for unlocking, and should unlock any enchantment. Though rune magic asides from healing with angelic runes were usually not Selene's forte, though she could cast them well enough.
Alodia bit her lip. Selene said do not be afraid, but that was hard to do when almost everything frightened her now. She watched the runes, trembling as she watched them spread over her. She tried to mask a whimper and failed.
Winnow woke up from where she was napping on Alodia's tails. Eyes still closed, they rarely opened, she crawled onto Alodia's lap and tried to soothe her. "It's okay. This is good magic, healing magic." Winnow said, patting Alodia's lap.

When the runes unlocked the power sealing enchantment on Alodia, Selene immediately removed them hearing her whimper. She looked down at Winnow and smiled at the shugo. Then looked up at Selene, "it's okay, it's done, you don't need to be afraid. The enchantment is gone."
Alodia bit her lip. It trembled as she looked down at Selene. "Th-thank you...." she managed to say, lifting her hands to hug herself. She trembled as she felt her regenerative abilities start to awaken within her and heal her wounds. She whimpered as she felt skin and bone knitting together, as well as the healing of anything else that was injured within her.
Unbeknownst to them both, the minute the spell was removed, a spell hidden within the seal beamed their location into the sky and then off into the distance.
A man looked up from sharpening his knives when a device on his desk started to spin and make noises. He placed it atop of a map, and it spun frantically around before halting atop a certain location. He grinned darkly, and moved to pack.
He had found her, and nothing would stop him from bringing her back.

Selene smiled gently, "sure thing honey, though, it's so strange that you have an enchantment like that on you..." She said, making herself more comfortable kneeling in front of Alodia. She felt, if she was at a lower angle to the girl, perhaps, she would not feel so overwhelmed by her. Selene's mother always said, to be a queen, you must command, demand, and also...accommodate. Without going again one's own morals anyway.
Alodia bit her lip as she looked over at Selene. "I-it becomes less strange.....after the reason why it was placed on me is discovered......" she whispered softly, avoiding eye contact.
Winnow still sat in Alodia's lap, trying to help keep her calm. Her eyes were still closed as she did it, but she didn't seem to be blind or had been blinded to make her eyes stay closed like that.

Selene frowned, and tilted her head curiously. "This reason...does it have to the number of wounds on you?" She asked quietly, low so that she didn't startled Alodia with slight anger she felt, even though she didn't know the reason. Call it intuition. Selene knew the wounds mark great pain and foul punishment. Knowing that that could be a possibility, horrified Selene.
"I-it......it does....." Alodia replied softly, starting to remove the bandages on her arms after feeling them heal. Beneath the bandages, the last of the wounds healed without a trace, but what became visible instead were the countless scars that came from her 'punishments' while her power was sealed.
Selene flinched visibly, unable to hide her shock, or her sorrow. Tears filled her eyes as she felt what kind of punishment or attack had caused the countless scars on Alodia's skin. "Oh my..."She whispered, horrified.
Alodia bit her lip, avoiding Selene's gaze as she responded to seeing the scars. "I-i'm sorry." she said instinctively, still unable to make eye contact. "I shouldn't have removed the bandages.....I should have known better then to show my scars........pl-please, d-don't b-be mad...." she whimpered, hiding her face.
"No, no, I'm not..mad...it's just, oh, what did you go through you poor thing?" Said Selene immediately trying to reassure Alodia. She lightly touched her hand when she saw her trying to hide. Selene could hardly find the words to say, let alone to think to concepptualise the range of emotions she was feeling right now about all this. "I'm not going to hurt you Alodia, you don't have to be afraid of me."
Alodia trembled, then slowly lifted her head to look at Selene. She had tears in her eyes as she said in a quaking voice, "I-i don't think i-it would be......I don't think I could tell you..." she bit her lip, trying to calm down some from the fear and worry still coursing through her from earlier. "Th-the last person who said that.......kidnapped me for years and did all of this..." she whispered, so faintly that you could barely hear her as she gestured to the scars, then her stomach where a child was beginning to form, the child of her captor...
((Is it weird that I want Alodia and Selene to share a dorm room?))
((Nope, I think it would make sense since Selene is the first person she might be okay with?))
"Oh..no..they didn't?" Selene gasped, reprimanding herself for saying something that would remind her her wounds. "Sorry, I didn't mean to remind you..." she faltered, thinking about what Alodia had said about being kidnapped. She flinched, and clenched her fist, angered. Then, she had to calm herself down, and make sure that she didn't frighten Alodia. Selene bit her lip, "you don't have to trust me, but, I am an Angel of Amaterasu, and I cannot lie. I will not hurt you."

((^_^ okay, and yeah I think that is gonna happen too))
Alodia bit her trembling lip, fighting hard against the urge to cry. She knew better then to cry. Crying made him mad......made him hurt.....she didn't want hurt.....A choked sob escaped her despite how hard she was trying to muffle it. She couldn't cry, it was forbidden, it was forbidden. She kept chanting it over and over in her head, but it wasn't helping. Selene wouldn't hurt her, she couldn't lie......Alodia knew a little about the angel of Amaterasu, she knew that what the girl was saying was true.
Winnow climbed up to Alodia's ear and whispered, "Alodia, you're not there anymore......you can cry now. Its okay, you won't be punished.....just cry..."
Alodia's shoulders started to shake as years of repressed tears started to escape her eyes and she started to sob into her hands.

((lols awesome! forewarning, I'm potentially going to disappear very soon..))
"Oh poor girl," said Selene reaching forward, hoping not to startle the girl and stroked her hair. She would have hugged her but Selene was worried that it might be too much for Alodia. So she settled for comforting. In her other hand she held out a tissue.

((Xd yus! and noes DX alright))
Alodia flinched at first when she felt something touch her, but when she looked up and saw Selene offering a tissue.....it was a simple gesture, yes, but for some reason, it made Alodia start to cry more. Before she knew what she was doing, she had wrapped her arms around Selene and buried her head in the girls shoulder as she cried.

((I'll make their dorm today - when I catch up with everything XD))
Selene was surprised when Alodia wrapped her arms around her, reminding her of her own daughter in her previous life before she was given the chance to start again with a new face. Selene stroked Alodia's hair and said softly, "there, there, cry yourself out, I'm sure you have been wanting to for a very long time."

((XD haha awesome))
Alodia trembled in Selene's arms as she cried. After she started, she didn't feel like she could stop. Too many years had gone with her fighting back her tears, and it was like a faucet had been turned on with her tears. She couldn't say anything but blubber out incoherent words as she clung to Selene.

"Hm?" Said Selene noting the girl's incoherent jumble of sounds that should have been words. She sighed sadly, and continued to comfort Alodia. "It's okay, cry first, talk later. You have all the time in the world," she said gently.
Winnow perched on the arm of the bench while Alodia cried her little heart out, glad that she had found someone.
Alodia finally cried herself out what felt like days later but was more like almost half an hour. She sniffled, hiccuped a few times, then leaned back so she could wipe her eyes and cheeks.

When Alodia leaned back, Selene felt cold around her stomach area. Looking down, she noticed that it was completely soaked. Alodia had cried that much. Smiling, she sighed, and handed Alodia another tissue to wipe her eyes and cheeks. Then knelt down in front of her again, and said, "how are you feeling? Better?"
Alodia wiped her face clean with the tissue, sniffling a few more times before slowly lifting her eyes to look at Selene. "I-i feel.....a little better, yes." she said softly. She looked up at Selene. "Th-thank you....f-for healing me a-and....letting me cry...."
Selene smiled, her smile reaching her eyes. "It's nothing, as long as you feel better. You're welcome to cry on me any time!" She said encouragingly.
