That question belongs in the Feedback Group: https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...(and if you're not just asking a question, but actually making a suggestion, I'm very much against it. I add my books when I acquire them/borrow them from the library, apart from the backlog of books in my possession that still need to be added. Wouldn't want to have to erase the date read every time.)
