Jessica | 15 comments This is very true! I think that it will be the best yet.
Although.... I really liked Eldest.

i find it hard to read the first 2 now, bcause he was weak, and he hadnt got good sword

message 9: by Jessica (new)

Jessica | 15 comments Yea, but the character development was incredible!

message 10: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments its aril 25, 2010 *i guessed*

I liked... all of them. They were all a bit different. In Eragon, Eragon was just like learning everything. Then in Eldest, he mostly trained. And in Brisingr, he found out a lot of secrets, and there was a lot of action.

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments will the last book be open ended or just plain happy ending?

message 13: by Tara, In hoc signo vinces (new)

Tara | 1068 comments Mod
I will chuck it out the window if it's just plain happy ending

well happy and sad

message 18: by Matt (new)

Matt Gibson (lone_wulf) | 16 comments I think that Eragon should die killing Galbatorix and the last chapter would be his funeral and the start of a new life for all those who survived. That would be both happy and sad.

Katherine (katherinlie) | 467 comments ♥Ginny and Harry♥ (Tara) wrote: "I will chuck it out the window if it's just plain happy ending"

Why??? i read to make me happy most of the time

message 20: by Tara, In hoc signo vinces (new)

Tara | 1068 comments Mod
Nah I don't like that. But it would fufil the prophecy, he would leave Alagaesia, as in the world, and never return because he's well... dead. But I'd rather the death would be Murtagh instead.

message 21: by Tara, In hoc signo vinces (new)

Tara | 1068 comments Mod
Same, it would kind of ruin the book

message 22: by Katherine (new)

Katherine (katherinlie) | 467 comments I think it would....but part of me dissagree's with the part of me that thinks it would

message 23: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments Some stories deserves happy endings some deserve none. But this one does, too many bad things already happened to eragon, yes he did get a dragon and powers. But it ios more like a big responsibility and a burden to him.

message 24: by Tara, In hoc signo vinces (new)

Tara | 1068 comments Mod
(has spoilers btw)

so? Harry Potter deserved a happy ending. Did it get one? kind of. Sure, Harry killed Voldy, but what about all those people that died? I think something like that needs to happen, where people need to die for things to be set right. Sacrifices need to be made

message 25: by Jessica (new)

Jessica | 15 comments Yea sacrifices do need to be made, but really when you think about it so much has already been sacrificed.

It would be okay if he left to a place far away and "never came back again." As long as it fits the story and he has defeated all he can.

Who knows. Maybe Chris has something up his sleeve...

message 26: by Katherine (new)

Katherine (katherinlie) | 467 comments But I hated the sacrifices that were made...it was a good crying moment
but now when I re-read all I can think is...they died
I don't want it to ruin the other books that come before it

message 27: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments Not serious enough? There are only few comedic scenes, lots of fighting and death, now that's serious.

message 28: by Tara, In hoc signo vinces (new)

Tara | 1068 comments Mod
yeah, that's true. I don't think of Brom much, because well... he had to die. He just did. There are some characters whom die and they needed to, because it adds to the plot, but there are others that when they die, well, they technically didn't need to. Nothing would've changed if they had lived.

message 29: by Katherine (new)

Katherine (katherinlie) | 467 comments I didn't think when Brom died sad either! It wasn't terribly sad when Glahdr and Oromis died...

I like when you say the technically didn't need to die =)
Kinda funny how that works

message 30: by Katherine (new)

Katherine (katherinlie) | 467 comments how manny people technically needed to die
wonder if God has ever been asked that

message 31: by Aaric (new)

Aaric | 131 comments MWAHAHAHA!

message 32: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments Brom's death was not that sad or touchy bec. he's character was not established that much. eragon (even me) did not know he was his biological father.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes I agree, Oromis And Glaedr's deaths were much more touching.

message 34: by Harpoon (new)

Harpoon ... | 1387 comments Cp is writing it right now. On what part of the book is he in now, no one knows. even the release is still unknown.

message 35: by Tara, In hoc signo vinces (new)

Tara | 1068 comments Mod
yes... it's rather depressing

message 36: by Anggia (new)

Anggia | 29 comments maybe at least 1 year until the book is released
can't wait for it

message 37: by Jessica (new)

Jessica | 15 comments Yea, I cannot wait either! I just wish he would hurry. :-)
You know what else would be nice? For them to re-make the movie. ...the movie sucked!

if only if only
the wood pecker sighs
the bark on the trees was as soft as
the skies
as the wolf waits below
hungry and lonely
he cries to the moo-oo-oon
if only if only.

message 48: by Tara, In hoc signo vinces (new)

If Only by Fiction Plane. Have you seen the movie holes? It was briefly in that, but just the chorus

message 49: by Tara, In hoc signo vinces (new)

message 50: by Tara, In hoc signo vinces (new)

Tara | 1068 comments Mod
you might recognize the chorus, but then again, it was sung by a woman in the movie (at least I think)
