Yeah, as interesting as that sounds, it seems unlikely. I mean, I know it's not the exact same, but it seems too similar to the point of him he going to Ellesmera.

For some reason, I'm not too impatient for the fourth one. I used to be... but I've really just moved on.
Tara wrote: "For some reason, I'm not too impatient for the fourth one. So I anxiously awaiting for those other series that i'm following...:)
CP posted a bit of the 4th book online, i wanna say in Nov. of last year. it was just a bit of one chapter. its title was called "brains", he said it wasn't about zombies, tho.
but if wild dragons are still out the wouldn't they come to help eragon? in the 4th book arya told eragon the the birds and animals of the ground sang of his coming and that was how she found him. the wild dragons would cents him and know that hes a good rider. if they were really wanting to save their race wouldn't they come help? sorry. i'm joining late and i have to catch up, so please bear with me.

No there isn't i don't think...unless there is some huge revelation in the forth book about wild dragons still being around.
Harpoon wrote: "That would ruin the story. Revealing lots of Eldunari... Yes, but Dragons?... No."yeah exactly my thoughts...it wouldn't do good for CP to revelat that all along there are wild dragons...but we know that is not the case.
Eragon is unique becuase he is one of the few dragon riders. Having more of them.. well readers will take sides. We all know Murtagh already has his share of fans. *ahem*
true. i like murtagh. i hate that he turned in2 a buy guy, but it made the book better, i mean cp could've killed him off along with the twins. and who knows maybe murtagh will find a way to free himself from galby amd join eragon. and they can both train the new rider. eragon could teach the history and murtagh could teach the magic and fighting.
not really. in some cases id chose him over eragon too. eragon thinks things out to much. whereas murgagh see's something that needs doing n does it.
Do you guys remember how there were pieces of a dragon egg in that cave in which saphira had a fight with glaedr? I wonder if that will come back up in the 4th book...

Hey everyone I heard that there is supposed to be a chapter from the fourth book in one of the new editions of Brisingr (that came out this week) http://www.shurtugal.com/?news=736
Book4 Chapter 4
hmm. King Cat, why does CP need to break down the book? Maybe he needs money, selling a few chapters of the book will help him raise money to finish the 4rth one.
I don't know....but chapter 4 is about the werecats...and none of them except of soloumbum (sp?) like Angela...
and that is all i know. lol
[ * At May 29, 2010, Paolini was in the middle of a section containing "a one-sided game of knucklebones, an evil assassin, bags of flour, a water-born battering ram, streets lined with lead, a knife in the back, and the death of a character."[4:] ]Content from http://inheritance.wikia.com/wiki/Book_4
so the chance that it will NOT be out in September. It doesn't sound like he is close to finishing writing it yet. @_@
I also think that character is going to be Nasuda...(however her name is spelt)
Book 4 will have a green dragon on the cover, nicknamed "Greeni" by fans.[1:]Book 4 will introduce a new Dragon Rider, whether they fight for the Empire or the Varden is still undetermined.[reference required:]
There is a chapter called "Brains!" in the book, but there are no zombies in it.[2:]
Murtagh will have a much larger role than he had before.[3:]
There will be chapters from Murtagh's and Thorn's perspective.[reference required:]
Eragon will return to Carvahall.[reference required:]
The origin of Werecats will be thoroughly explored.[1:]
The remaining prophesies of Angela will be fulfilled:
Eragon's vision of him and another leaving Alagaësia forever with their dragons.[1:]
The Rock of Kuthian and the Vault of Souls will be revealed.[1:]
Eragon will have an "epic romance" ("I cannot say if this passion will end happily, but your love is of noble birth and heritage. She is powerful, wise, and beautiful beyond compare." - Angela, Eragon... it is arguable that this romance/passion has already existed for Arya with a bad ending)[1:]

How do you know?
All I have heard is that they have the cover art done. And CP love the rendition.
