I liked hearing Rebecca's thoughts on their family trip to Bermuda even though she was only five. It showed how differently people perceive different situations. I find that Rebecca is wise beyond her years or at least seems extremely more streetsmart than her mom.

These chapters we got some background information on the family. I appreciated that in Joley chapter we got to hear about there family history and the scene about there father passing made since as to why Jane may have some issues to work out. For crying out loud she bout hit a dead man thankfully Joley was there to stop her. We also get to see how Jane and Oliver's relationship started in these chapters. From this we can see how they were before they got to the way they are today. I hope that Rebecca and Hadley relationship stays strong.
