I know! I started it last year, and put it aside because I didn't have time to finish it. As far as I've read, it was okay. Not gripping from the start, but has potential.

Would definitely recommend this novel to anyone who can read Arabic.
My Review:
"Noura Gamal takes the reader on an amusing adventure across the Indian subcontinent through the eyes and experiences of her characters. With authentic dialogue and relatable characters, this story truly embodies the desires and heartaches of today's youth. "

A powerful story that I would recommend reading.

My Review:
"A story of karmic justice told through the innocent eyes of a little girl, who's yet to understand human nature and the role society plays in shaping it. My favorite part was the comparison between the treatment of the black citizens of Maycomb and the persecution of the Jews in Germany, and how the situation highlighted the true hypocrisy of the white southerners in the county and the extent at which racism against blacks is embedded in their culture.
